apparently deltarune or undertale isnt allowed but according to google it says
"Yes, most Deltarune fan content is generally allowed, but with limitations; Toby Fox and his team are gracious toward fan works like fan art, gameplay streams, and non-commercial fan games, encouraging users to dispute any copyright claims, especially for music, but they generally prohibit selling fan content that recreates the original game or using copyrighted music in a commercial way" and i'm not im just trying to generate a video for it on sora 2?

OpenAI’s policies for Sora and other generative tools do not specifically mention “Deltarune” or “Undertale” by name. However, there are clear guidelines regarding the use of copyrighted material and intellectual property:

  • You may not upload or generate content for which you do not have all necessary rights, including images or videos of other individuals without their express written consent, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights Creating images and videos in line with our policies Generating video content on Sora.
  • OpenAI’s Terms of Use prohibit using their services in a way that infringes, misappropriates, or violates anyone’s rights, including intellectual property rights Terms of Use.

If you are generating original fan content (such as a video inspired by Deltarune or Undertale) for personal, non-commercial use and not uploading copyrighted assets (like original game sprites, music, or video), this is generally allowed under OpenAI’s policies, provided you are not violating the intellectual property rights of the creators. However, if you use copyrighted material without permission, your content may be removed, and your account could be at risk.

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or removed, and you have the rights or believe it falls under fair use or the original creator’s fan content guidelines, you can dispute or report this through OpenAI’s content reporting form Reporting Content in ChatGPT and OpenAI Platforms.

Summary:
You can generate Deltarune-inspired videos on Sora as long as you do not use copyrighted assets without permission and your content complies with OpenAI’s policies. If you encounter restrictions, it is likely due to copyright protection, not a blanket ban on Deltarune or Undertale content.

Yes, even if your content is for personal use, it can still be moderated or blocked by OpenAI’s systems. OpenAI uses automated tools and moderation systems to detect content that may violate their Usage Policies, regardless of whether the content is intended for personal or public use. If problematic content is detected—such as content that may infringe on intellectual property rights or otherwise violate policies—the system may warn you, block the generation, or prevent sharing, even if your intent is non-commercial or personal How we identify problematic content Creating images and videos in line with our policies.

This moderation applies to all users and all types of use, to ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements. If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged, you can report or dispute it using OpenAI’s reporting tools.
