i cancel a generation (and i've no more on queue or so) and then it's been 1 hour ive : You can only generate 1 image or video at a time

Hey, I’m experiencing the same issue – it’s been stuck like this for about 12 hours now. No job is running, but I still get the “You can only generate 1 image or video at a time” message. A quick fix would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Same here – still stuck with the error after more than 18 hours. Tried everything (logout, different devices, waited), nothing helps. Really hoping this gets noticed and fixed soon – seems like quite a few of us are affected.

I’m honestly starting to feel pretty frustrated and disappointed.
It’s been almost a full day now, and still no response, no fix, no sign that this is being looked into, even though multiple people are reporting the same issue. I really hope someone from the team sees this soon...

Please, make a ticket of this at help.openai.com. More tickets are generated, quicker we get issue fixed.

Quick update from my side: I also reached out to the support operator via the OpenAI help site.
They were friendly and acknowledged the issue might be backend-related, but couldn’t offer a direct fix or reset either.
So unfortunately, nothing new or helpful so far, still stuck.

I was generating images, and I noticed that one of the older images still shows the "loading" animation as if it’s being created. This happens in the area where all images are displayed. However, in the top right corner I don’t see any notification, and I’m not generating anything at the moment.

But when I try to generate a new image and then request a second generation, I get a message saying I’m limited to only one image. This doesn’t make sense since I have a Plus plan, which I specifically pay for to avoid this limitation.
