Platform/OS:
• Platforms: iOS (ChatGPT app), Android, Web (Chrome, Edge)
• OS: macOS, Windows, Android
Description:
Since August 31st, I’m unable to use ChatGPT with my personalized settings. I receive the error: “Hmmm… something seems to have gone wrong.” When I try to access the Custom Instructions feature to adjust settings, I get: "Failed to get your settings." This happens across all devices and platforms. However, custom GPT models like Scholar GPT work without issues, so I believe the problem is tied to my personalized settings.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log in to ChatGPT on iOS, Android, or Web.
- Attempt to access any ChatGPT model.
- Error: “Hmmm… something seems to have gone wrong.”
- Access Custom Instructions and see: “Failed to get your settings.”
Expected Result:
Settings should load, and ChatGPT should function as expected.
Actual Result:
Settings fail to load, and I cannot access standard ChatGPT models. Custom GPTs work fine.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
• Cleared cache, reinstalled app, logged out, tested on fresh browser installs (Chrome, Edge), restarted/powered off devices. The issue persists across all platforms.
Additional Info:
• Subscription Level: ChatGPT Plus ($20/month)
• Last Charge: September 18th
• I am open to an account reset but need a way to back up my chat history.
Error Messages:
- “Hmmm… something seems to have gone wrong.”
- “Failed to get your settings.”
Request:
