I've created a custom GPT on OpenAI and published it to "Public". Will GPT Search find it automagically or is there another step required? Also, can I point my domain at it, and if so, how do I do that?

Hi @grizzled path. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Based on the information provided in the extracts, when you publish your custom GPT as 'Public', it may appear in the GPT Store, which is coming soon according to a forum post (https://community.openai.com/t/498073). However, there is no explicit mention of a GPT Search feature that would automatically find your public GPT.

As for pointing your domain at your custom GPT, the extracts do not provide any information on this topic. It's mentioned that if your GPT has actions and makes calls to your API plugin, then you get the minimal data and hosting requirement of servicing the API request of the action on your domain. But this seems to be more about your GPT interacting with your existing domain, rather than pointing a domain at your GPT.

For more detailed information or instructions, you may want to refer to OpenAI's official documentation or reach out to their support.

  2. OpenAI Cookbook (https://github.com/openai/openai-cookbook/tree/main/examples): This repository contains example code and prompts for accomplishing common tasks with the API.

  3. OpenAI Community Forum (https://community.openai.com/): A place where you can ask questions, share tips, and connect with fellow API users.

  4. OpenAI Help Center (https://help.openai.com/en/): Here you can find articles answering frequently asked questions about OpenAI's products.

  5. OpenAI Playground (https://beta.openai.com/playground): A platform where you can experiment with OpenAI's models.

Please note that these resources are based on the information provided in the extracts and may not directly answer your question about pointing a domain at your custom GPT. For more specific guidance, you may want to reach out to OpenAI's support directly.
