  1. OpenAI Team,
  2. Recent platform changes.

Expected result:

A more improved and stable platform.

Actual result:

Numerous glitches, errors, and a challenging user experience.

Additional information

I'm fed up with the recent changes to the platform. The glitches, separate message timers, and constant errors are turning it into a circus. I'm seriously thinking of canceling my subscription. As a long-time user, I expected better, even in beta.

What glitch/glitches are you running into? And regarding the "separate message timers," do you mean how the GPT-4 cap is rolling, so that it's like how each message has its own 3hr timer before you "get it back"?

Well, the errors that are occurring are basically when I'm doing data analysis, sometimes with very simple calculations and straightforward things to solve mathematical and programming problems. It keeps giving various errors during the data analysis process. Dalle 3 is struggling with many and many errors in image generation. Moreover, sometimes when I try to search using Bing, it basically doesn't work. It gives an error, keeps searching for a long time, and then fails to function. So, I lose that search, that message, and most importantly, the time that this tool should be saving for me to make my life easier. It's definitely not working in other aspects either. Yes I´m talking about the GPT-4 cap, which I find ridiculous because you basically need to keep track of your usage all the time without any idea of what you've already used. Before, at least, I could spread out my usage over 3 hours, knowing that even if I had a higher demand at some point, I would have already used three hours by the first message, and then I could continue using it. I adapted all my tool usage to this timer and limitation. Plus, it changed because it became extremely difficult to use since you never know when the next message will come. If you'll be able to use it. Considering that most of the tool's activity is with gp4, you don't know if it will interrupt your workflow at any moment. I found this to be terrible.Furthermore, the number of messages has decreased to 40 from the previous 50. Overall, I found all the changes to be terrible. I think it was a disservice, and I didn't see any advantage in this new GT4 Turbo. It still loses context, can't handle long texts, and the searches keep failing all the time, forgetting what I said at the beginning. Honestly, I feel like the service is degrading over time, which is disappointing because it's an excellent service and product. @steel shadow

# bold stratus Of course, I understand it's in Beta, and there's a lot to improve, but honestly...

It sounds like you have a pretty comprehensive understanding of all the tools and limitations of ChatGPT right now, and I feel you on many of the hiccups in service we've experienced as users. I think it's good they've paused new Plus subscribers in the short term while they continue to work on stability and scaling, not to mention the current governance tumult.

If you ever want to try to troubleshoot any particular bug you keep running into, separate from happenstance bugs here and there, I'd be happy to try to help if I can. Folks in #community-help are very helpful too.
