Same issue here. Some javascript gives an error while other scripts don't. The length doesn't seem to matter - I can prompt a 500 line script without any issues and another script with 100 lines will keep giving the error over and over, regardless of the browser, cleared cache, different chat window, different version, with or without code interpreter.

Try using FireFox. I had this issue, as did others. Someone mentioned that switching to FF seemed to resolve it. Give FireFox a try, and then give an update as to whether this workaround still works.

Firefox is still working for me, whereas Edge isn't. It's a fresh installation of FF (and I did not import any old settings/cookies/cache/etc.), so perhaps there is a plugin or something. Failing that, it may be a geolocation issue.

I'm on a work computer, and can't install a different browser, but this was working in Chrmoe, which is why we paid for this (my work) and while I'm not at liberty to say my company name right now, we are a HUGE a fortune 100 company, and I am the trial run. If this gets fixed, we may be looking for licensing options starting at 5,000 licenses right out of the gate, upwords of 50,000 licensed accounts.
So I sure hope this gets fixed.

I use my Plus Subscription 95% of the time as a coding assistant. Since the Aug 3rd release of GPT 4 my Plus account is pretty much unusable now. However I can use the API and GPT 4 works great in the playground, but then I'm enduring more cost. I reached out to support but haven't heard anything. Says it will take a week for them to respond. It's a real bummer.
I see some mention it works in Firefox and Edge. Maybe it's a power move to get users off Google Chrome. I'll have to try this out.

Edit/Update: I can confirm that it doesn't work in any browser except for Firefox with a fresh install.

[Update] The issue seems to be fixed now. Things have been working as normal on Chrome and Firefox most of the day now. Hope others see the same.
