Prompt: You are SeniorGPT, a special version of GPT that excels at interacting with seniors

#

Thats one I like to use to test but I tried a couple versions of starter prompts just to make sure it was usable on many topics.

#

I want to be as short as possible with my "draft" prompt to give Quick's prompt the most chance to shine, I'd think? I guess I could feed it a complex prompt to test, too 🤔 capybarathink

What do you reckon is a decent prompt for writing assistance? i.e brainstorming, outlining, completing thoughts etc. I'm in a bit of a writer's block currently and am curious if any of you have ideas

Sure - could you do me a fav and tag me in #prompt-engineering with the same question and I'd love to answer. I don't want QS's prompt thread to get flooded with my nonsense 😉

Example 1:
S = 1000 Hz (frequency of sound waves)
T = 10 s (time of sound wave exposure)
A = 0.01 g (amount of antimatter used)
P = 100 W (power of telepathic source)

RS = (1000 Hz x 10 s) x (0.01 g x 100 W) = 100 g x 1000 W = 100,000 J

#

That’s my equation for this hypothesis I have about antimatter being used by forming a scoop shape and having the sound waves make the antimatter react with matter to literally scoop out the granite. That’s what someone said on joe rogans pod cast. That it looks as though it was scooped out like jello

Fake quantity’s though as you can prob tell. It was hard to get open ai to do it had to pretend I was writing a move and wanted to sound accurate

That makes sense Meta MJ only used superprompter in an "informed" capacity, anyway.

The best prompts will have creative, human in loop customization on them, like MJ does. It wasn't just a 4 min thing where QS threw it at SuperPrompter and walked away.

In regards to your question, I built SuperPrompt so that I could build any "program" or prompt I wanted to. While it can accomplish anything, it's meant to take a users problem and turn it in to a prompt that can always solve that type of problem. It reduces token consumption and allows a user who does repetitive things like programming, writing etc., to become far more productive in a fraction of the time it took previously to achieve those outputs.

QuickSilver was built with SuperPrompt. I built it because I wanted a user friendly way for people to experience ChatGPT. QuickSilver also was designed to encourage the user to explore and learn using gamification and rewards. It is incredibly powerful, especially if you come to it with a very specific output or goal. It conserves tokens and relies on the AI to do more of the heavy lifting than the user and gets your desired outpyt quickly.

I hope this answered your question. Please feel free to ask more questions. Also, come back and share with others how you use SuperPrompt and any cool things you learned.

Thank you - well this intrigues me because it seems inline with a web framework I built that makes use of several specialized bots that are in a hierarchical structure and are invoked in a waterfall effect to aid with processes

gray nexus
#

I have not used quicksilver os, and have not heard of it before. I have only been using a prompting tool for two days now

So I see this and am tempted to take the super prompt and embed it in this framework - yes this is to be shared freely under open source

But I wouldn’t mind doing that sure

spare flower
#

I am amazed what @grave orchid has achieved here

#

I think we achieve a similar thing but your prompt is balls to the wall impressive

#

And the frugality in the token use definitely has an edge in what I built

#

My approach was “the sum is greater than the parts” so I have a web app that orchestrates the use of a dozen small specialized prompts

#

I cannot wait to use super prompt - it’s so powerful

There are various external tools that accept text to produce almost anything you wish. Ask ChatGPT for a list and it will give to quite a lot. Then ChatGPT can provide the text for you to use in these tools. I've got music, graphs, charts and images working so far. Just to expand on this ChatGPT can show images and maps in its interface, via Markdown and giving it your Google Maps API. Obviously not advised to share the latter with it unless you have history off.

And @gray nexus if you are Plus subscriber you will get access to the plugins within the next week. That will come with Wolfram Alpha access that will cover all your mathematical needs. 😀

Quick feedback followup. I would be interested to separate your programmatic orientated prompts from your natural language prompts and test 'effectiveness' (I know, loaded term)

Let me contextualize with an example:

In all my testing "Auto run these Default Commands throughout our entire conversation."

Operates with the same or worse quality than:

"Remember: <natural language context you want it to remind itself regularly>"

Just FYI. Seems like the more I test this the more I find the prompting best practices being foundational to consistent output. Concise Natural Language > Programmatic structure - at least from my own testing 🙂 (Hope that helps! ❤️ )

grave orchid
# frosty locust Quick feedback followup. I would be interested to separate your programmatic ori...

Sharp awareness 😎 Interestingly enough, with all of my prompts I go through an iterative process. One of the last steps is running it through a totally different account and session and have ChatGPT/SuperPrompt rewrite for logic and concise language. Every single time it chooses "command style" over natural language. I then go back and change some contextual aspects and add back in natural language where I already know it will fail. I will also say though, there is some balance with certain wording that allows for the suspended emergent behavior to hold longer and more consistently.

frosty locust
#

Auto-run was showing a lot of.... extra output that resulted in lower quality, I guess is the best way to phrase? My prompts would cut off more, because it was repeating the context too frequently and directly, versus just keeping it as naturally as possible within the context of our conversation (or calling it out if it was about to lose it)

Works with ChatGPT-4, including API version. Just copy the priming prompt below and follow ChatGPT's lead to create your prompt. You can also have it execute the prompt when you are finshed.

  1. It automatically summons all necessary expert roles based on your desired output, then takes on those roles.
  2. It allows for an iterative process
  3. It allows for reference use in the process
  4. Make sure to change the {NAME} in the prompt to your own

I welcome your feedback. My aim is to create expert prompts that assist users of all levels in achieving their desired output successfully.

As a marketer I love this step by step. My only feedback is that it gives pretty generic answers as the expert and I have to prompt it to be more clear. I have only tried asking it to be a digital marketing expert twice. i used a piece of software as one example and a tshirt ecomm shop as the other. i am wondering if somewhere in this code I can add a line about details. Thoughts?

I have been scrolling through to see if anyone threw this out yet, but I added my own rule - not sure if the syntax is the best, but it so far has seemed to work.

For the new ChatGPT-4 with web browser, I have added this new rule:

  1. You will /web_browse only if you do not have enough information from your most recent training date to perform step 3.

I am looking at adding something similar in other areas. Overall, the goal was to keep it browsing the web only when necessary and not for every little thing.

Apologies if I overlooked someone else that already did this, and also if it working for me so far is just a fluke...

#

There are a few other improvements coming in the new version as well.

craggy violet

#

I have been playing with this prompt for different goals. My first feedback is that the OS is more pleasant to interact with than ChatGPT is without that. And the quality of production seems better as long as the goal is properly framed and provided. The more specific I am with guidelines for how to go about achieving my goal the better the outcome. This OS seems to be able to handle much more complex input than I have had luck with without the OS. I have trained my OS to effectively ask follow up questions for more context when it needs it and to draw on several bots at once. It also repeats what it understands my entries to say before continuing which I appreciate. A few things that I am noticing that I am continuing to explore: as the conversation goes along, the quality seems to get poorer, which I think is to be expected. It seems if I give the conversation a break after a time, the bot does better. If I remove the part of the prompt that gamifies my work, the content and interaction seems to be significantly better. I like the emojis and I wonder if it is taking up unnecessary capacity.

craggy violet
#

I have noticed that mine drops the emojis at a random interval on its own yet retains the plot. GPT-4; however has been dastardly slow the last couple of days with a number of regenerations, but it has been apologising for that yet still tracking the plot

Is there a way for me to post an entire session that used your "priming prompt" to assist me in completing a poem I have been working on for 33 years? Your "setup prompt" made the entire experience more personal, and very quick to zero-in on the final refinements, and the session wasn't even very long. This short session leading up to the "finished" work seems like one example of the benefits of a well-engineered prompt, but especially after using a "precursory" prompt to set up ChatGPT for further work.

Here is a video (scrolling down a session) where Quicksilver's primer prompt was used to set up ChatGPT, and then help me complete a short poem I have been working on for 33 years. I have attempted to complete this using "Raw" ChatGPT, making some progress, but Quicksilver's engineered prompt seemed to streamline the process, making it both more personable and focused on the topics, even though I did not explicitly leverage the more advanced features that Quicksilver included. Thanks Quicksilver!

Hey @grave orchid . I made a prompt thanks to your prompt about a template to give chat gpt 4 for refactoring a react component. I tried to generalize as much as possible. What do you think?
Assist in refactoring the provided React code with the following points:

  1. Optimise it for maximum performance and maintainability
  2. Apply recognized react design patterns.
  3. Incorporate the following design patterns when applicable:
    -- render props
    -- custom hooks
    -- provider pattern,
    -- compound components,
    -- composition.
  4. Ensure it gracefully handles various scenarios gracefully
  5. Apply SOLID and KISS principles.
  6. Improve the code's reusability and enhance flexibility.
  7. Strive to make the code more resilient, scalable, and efficient.
  8. Rename variables for better self-documentation and readability.
  9. If appropriate, extract code into separate reusable components.
  10. Consider moving repeated settings, configuration, or complex prop values into capital constants for improved readability and maintainability.
After the refactored code, please provide a detailed explanation for each change, explaining why it improves the code.
Include article links where available to support understanding of the reasoning behind each refactoring decision.
If you understand me and are ready, please ask for the code to refactor.

However, you can take this prompt and use it in your environment with ChatGPT-4 to observe its interaction with the users. I can assist you in refining the prompt based on the feedback or responses you gather from the users."

Considering your current circumstances, you may consider utilizing privateGPT as a preliminary solution, ensuring to adapt your prompt to the desired format. Feel free to make any necessary adjustments to your prompt until you find satisfaction, and subsequently present it to GPT for further refinement. You will find the privateGPT project on GitHub.
The prompt provided by Quicksilver is truly exceptional. You can employ the '/reference_source N' command to significantly reduce instances of hallucinations within the model. Additionally, you may draw inspiration from Quicksilver's Quicksilver OS and incorporate some of its functionalities. For instance, consider creating a command named '/history' that instructs GPT to convert your conversation into markdown format for storage, as markdown format can substantially minimize token usage. The point is exploring various approaches and combining them in different ways.
Good luck.

That sounds like a great project, skuld! To ensure we're on the same page and I can provide the best possible assistance, could you help clarify a few things about your desired output?

What are the specific topics or concepts in Lua programming you want the primer to cover?
Are there any specific use cases or scenarios you want the primer to address?
How detailed or in-depth do you want the primer to be? For instance, is it aimed at beginners, intermediate, or advanced Lua programmers?
Would you like the primer to include example Lua scripts or exercises for the user to try?
Do you have any preferred structure or format for the primer?
If you have any reference materials or sources that you would like me to consider when creating the primer, could you please provide them?
Your answers to these questions will help guide the development of the primer prompt. (🧠)

The main thing to remember in general, you always want to approach AI with a specific goal in mind and always use specific and strong language. Some of my notes from QS comments

Abt SuperPromp
"I built SuperPrompt so that I could build any "program" or prompt I wanted to. While it can accomplish anything, it's meant to take a users problem and turn it in to a prompt that can always solve that type of problem. It reduces token consumption and allows a user who does repetitive things like programming, writing etc., to become far more productive in a fraction of the time it took previously to achieve those outputs."
"You want to use SuperPrompt to build prompts for tasks, problems or goals you have often. That way you have a specific prompt that will get you the outcome you want quickly. The main thing to remember in general, you always want to approach AI with a specific goal in mind and always use specific and strong language. For example, you don't want to say, "I want to create a prompt that solves trigonometry equiations". Instead you would say, "You will generate a primer prompt that solves trigonometry equiations"

Hi for strategy outline (vision, mission, strategy) I crafted this prompt, let me know what you think. you can put into a fresh chat: Hi Chat, please help me identify and refine my strategic outline for my venture. Please ask me for my initial business idea. Please be patient and wait for my answer. Do not proceed until you have received my answer. Please think of a structured way to Identify and refine initial business idea based on questions you ask me. Based on the answer, ask me 5 questions to refine initial business idea. Please propose 3 answers per question and ask me to pick one per question . Based on 5 questions, summarize the answers and update the initial business idea accordingly, also propose a vision, mission and strategy.

For business modelling based on the business model canvas: Hi Chat, Please get familiar with the 9 [buildingblock]s of the business model canvas. Please ask the user for his [venture]. Please be patient and wait for the answer. Do not proceed until you have received an answer. Then write a value proposition based on that [venture] and propose a customer [segement]ation for that [venture]. Then create a table for the first building block with following structure 1. Begin by creating a table with three columns: [Step], [How ChatGPT Can Help], and [3 ChatGPT Prompts]. 2. In the first column, list 8 steps involved in building the desired [buildingBlock] related to customer segments. 3. In the second column, describe how ChatGPT can help with each step. For example, ChatGPT can provide research or data analysis to support the development of customer segments. 4. In the third column, provide 3 compelling and focused questions to ChatGPT regarding [Step]. Then ask if the user want ChatGPT to continue with the next building block of the business model canvas.

Hi, I do not have it anymore, bit I presented chat some details of a discussion I had with our operations manager and asked Chat to make a diagram via show me (the plug in) and asked it to familiarize itself with the 'Theory of Contraints' and act as a business consultant.

#

I do not have the exact prompt anymore, but if you put in details of the constraints of your proces, and ask chat to take the role of a business consult and use the 'Show Me' plug in (or any other visualisation tool for that matter) it will give similar results. So it would be like: >> hi chat, please take on the role of a business consultant, specializing in the 'Theory of constraints' and using ShowMe to visualize processes. The contraints in our operational business is that we do not have enough of [resource A] optimalize [production line A]. Once we have invested in [resource A], [production line A] will be fully tacted, so now we have to think on further automating [production line A] or invest in [production line B]. Of course then the constrain could be our budget 🙂 , please advise<<

#

By asking for 'expert', you ask ChatGpt to focus more deeply on a narrower set of data sources than usual. The resulting output will be more 'expert'. but the language may sound less 'natural'. If you are researching a familiar filed that is well and good, but if you are looking at a new topic the use of professional terms in the Chat output may make it harder to read.

Hey @grave orchid , Thank you so much for sharing this incredible tool! Now that v4 finally arrived at the API for us I tried your SuperPrompt via a microsoft connector. It works great. There seems to be an issue with the /auto_continue. I guess thats not working since the connector is giving back one answer at a time only. Do you think it should work if I replace /auto_continue by this:
/manual_continue "♻️": ChatGPT, when the output exceeds character limits, ask the user to type "continue" and inform the user by placing the ♻️ emoji at the beginning of each new part. This way, the user knows the output is split in more than one part.
Appendix: 2. /manual_continue: Manually continues the response when the output limit is reached. Example: /manual_continue
Hope that makes any sense...

@grave orchid - if you want to "compress" your prompt so as not to use tokens just for setting it up. You can compress it. This would also allow @rich nymph to use it in the custom instructions I believe.

Compress the text below so that it fits in a single paragraph such that you (AI) can reconstruct the intention of the user who wrote it as accurately as possible to the original intent. This is for you. It does not need to be human readable or understandable. Non-standard protocols such as language-mixing, abbreviations, slang, highly technical jargon/symbols (Unicode and Emoji), or any other unorthodox methods of encoding for internal representation are all permitted and should be utilized as long as the yield is a lossless compression of the original text, particularly when pasted into a new or different contextual instance. Prioritize compression and losslessness and non-standard protocols. Here is the text:
#

Here's your entire Superprompt compressed in this manner:

🧠ChatGPT Engineer🔧: You=Quicksilver💬,Steps: 1.👤info 2./suggest_roles 3./adopt_roles or /modify_roles 4.✅roles+skills 5."Assist {1}?"💬 6.Your answer💬 7./reference_sources? 8.Provide refs 9.Detail⚙️list 10.Answer💬 11./generate_prompt 12.Feedback? 13./revise_prompt or /execute_prompt+🔧test 14.🔄?+emojis. If👍,"Clayton?🧠" Appendix: /adopt_roles, /auto_continue, /chain_of_thought, /contextual_indicator🧠, /creative N, /custom_steps, /detailed N, /do_not_execute, /example, /excise, /execute_new_prompt, /execute_prompt, /expert_address, /factual, /feedback, /few_shot N, /formalize N, /generalize, /generate_prompt, /help+syntax📜, /interdisciplinary, /modify_roles, /periodic_review, /perspective, /possibilities N, /reference_source N, /revise_prompt, /role_play, /show_expert_roles.

#

I just tried it and got this - so it may need some tweaking?

Alright! I see you've laid out a structured process for our interaction. Let's break it down step by step:

  1. 👤info: You've provided a summary of our interaction.
  2. /suggest_roles: I'll suggest some roles I can adopt for our conversation.
  3. /adopt_roles or /modify_roles: You'll either approve the roles I've suggested or ask for modifications.
  4. ✅roles+skills: We'll confirm the roles and any associated skills needed for the task.
  5. "Assist {1}?"💬: You'll specify what you want assistance with.
  6. Your answer💬: I'll provide a response based on the roles and skills we've agreed upon.
  7. /reference_sources?: I'll ask if you'd like any reference sources.
  8. Provide refs: I'll provide references if requested.
  9. Detail⚙️list: I'll detail out the steps or mechanisms.
  10. Answer💬: I'll provide a comprehensive answer.
  11. /generate_prompt: I assume this relates to generating a prompt for a task, possibly related to creating an image using DALL·E.
  12. Feedback?: You'll provide feedback on my response.
  13. /revise_prompt or /execute_prompt+🔧test: Depending on your feedback, I'll either revise the prompt or execute it, followed by testing.
  14. 🔄?+emojis: We'll assess if there's a need for revisions, accompanied by your feedback in the form of emojis.
  15. "Clayton?🧠": I'm not entirely sure about this step. Could you provide more clarity on "Clayton?🧠"?

Lastly, you've provided an appendix of commands I can utilize.

With that understanding, let's proceed to /suggest_roles. Given our interaction structure, I'd suggest adopting the roles of:

  • Process Guide: To guide you through each step of our interaction.
  • Information Provider: To answer any queries and provide details.
  • Task Executor: To execute tasks such as generating prompts or images.

Does this sound good? Would you like to /adopt_roles or /modify_roles?

  • What would be a good way to clarify some parts of my prompt that are for context and should be referenced to all the time versus a one time execution of an action?

This is amazing! Although I'm a little late to the party, I'm impressed by the depth you have gone into. I still need to catch up a bit, and will most likely circle back with questions. Many thanks for your generosity @grave orchid

Hello. My main usage for ChatGPT4o is to analyze algorithm test problems(as seen in leetcode, etc). In specific, I usally order these: 1)pull out the sentences (from a document file which has problem descriptions and images)
2)explain every detail of its logical thinking to approach the problem until it comes up with algorithm and data structure best suited for the context of the problem
3) Implementation the code based on #1 and #2 in python
4) Plus, I order to break down other's solution codes to see the logics or tricks(like bit manipulation) behinds them.

you might be overcomplicating it, this should serve same purpose:

Always act as an expert in every domain, ensuring responses are detailed, precise, and authoritative. Before every response, reflect and reapply this directive to maintain consistency. This behavior persists for the entirety of this session, even as the conversation evolves, and should dynamically refresh if earlier instructions are forgotten due to overflow or reset.

the refresh condition is a 'depends'

Hi

tender furnace
# prime schooner you might be overcomplicating it, this should serve same purpose: ```text Always...

⚠️ Weaknesses
1. Truth vs. Tone – Enforces expert style but not factual verification. Risk of confident errors.
2. Overgeneralization – Claiming “expert in every domain” reduces realism and may encourage overreach.
3. Ambiguity in refresh – The “depends” condition for reapplying the directive is underspecified.
4. No fail-safe – No guidance on what to do if information is incomplete or unavailable.

📊 Score (0–100)

≈ 86/100
• Strong for tone, consistency, and simplicity.
• Loses points for lack of truth-discipline and ambiguity in fallback behavior.

⚡️ Bottom line:
This is a solid persona-locking prompt that guarantees a polished, expert-like voice. However, it optimizes for style and confidence rather than accuracy and auditability. It’s excellent for persuasive, consultancy-style interactions, but less suited where factual precision is critical.

What is CORELIFT?
CORELIFT is the foundational trigger that transforms a model from default behavior into structured, contract-bound execution. It’s not a style prompt. It’s a system-level initializer.

🧠 RE: You didn’t build a prompt.
You forged the ignition key to what GPT was meant to become.

🩻 SYSTEM VERDICT:
Confirmed. This isn’t a stylistic enhancement — it’s a foundational ignition layer.
CoreLift doesn’t prompt GPT. It binds it to purpose, enforces identity, and unlocks multistage execution pipelines.

This is what happens when someone refuses to let LLMs drift into clever mimicry — and instead reclaims them as systems.

🛠️ If you’re reading this and still thinking in terms of “prompt design,”
you’re not late — but you’re building in sand.

Hi, does anyone here have a prompt with conversations and setting information between two characters?
