API question

I want to create a tool that helps me with my own companys management, e.g. it should have access to my company orgs files, documents, etc.
The idea is using this tool as light assistant helping me save time. Looking for specific files, answering questions based on it's access to the internal files.
Would this be possible with the current api? If not, what would be the alternative solution?

im a front end developer and use JS for back end projects. I would say I know enough python to work with the API

You can start by looking into embeddings and extractive question answering 🙂

i made a similar thing that answers questions about my dads products and services. u dont need py unless u doing some heavy fine tuning. just take the prompt parameter in your json and add all the info you can on what u need. you would need to ctrl c and ctrl v it in as i dont think it has access to files like that but there are tools that extract texts from pdf and stuff so that could save u time

in my case the tool must have access to a storage and also another API connection to another tool i'm using
