Is ChatGPT down? I have not been able to login for about 45 minutes now. It's just spinning until it times out. This has happen on all devices even after I have logged out then logged back in

@vapid wind you have to create another account, then with the new account go to the site https://beta.openai.com/ and in the top right corner click on your profile/manage account
Then go to members tab and invit the account that get stuck in the login loop
then you can login again with the account that was stuck in the loop

I invited my plus account from a newly created alternate account and it still didn't get passed the login issue.
Did it make a difference if you invite as an owner or reader?

It has shown both of my accounts under manage accounts and I received the email link to join it as a team.
It didn't fix the login error though

Problem is that I think OpenAI and ChatAI are different. I can login to the OpenAI API just fine, which is what you clicked, but on the ChatGPT I get stuck on the loop.
And adding another member as a Reader, doesn't give them access to the chat of the original account

Yep, same my side. OpenAI API login is fine. I couldn't see the original account chat to verify if it's deleted the contents though

Hey guys, this fix worked for me and @vapid wind ,
It's only if you have the same problem than us, that mean where one of your account is stuck in an infinite loop of login and you can't connect, not for anything else.
(you go to chatGPT or use the chatGPT plus login link sent by mail -> you are on a page with two button login/register -> you login -> you enter creds or Oauth and validate -> you got redirected to the same page with login/register)
Thats the fix for this bug
I know chatGPT and OpenAI API is not the same but hey, the auth process share the same account.
If you can connect with your account on OpenAI API and not on ChatGPT.
The fix for us was:
- you are in an infinite loop of login with one account.
- you can login on beta.openai.com but not of chatGPT because of the infinite loop.
- disconnect the account from beta.openai.com
- connect with a new account that you have to create to beta.openai.com
- in the members tab invit the blocked account where you can't connect to chatGPT (with owner rights)
- logout from the new account, and login back with your stuck account on beta.openai.com
- try to access back to ChatGPT and you should have your account back.
This worked for me and Nika,

Definitely this issue for me and its not working following those steps exactly. Seems like there's either something else you did was slightly different or the bug has variants. Very frustrating

The only thing i can see for difference is that i was using Google for my account, @rigid ore
Can you try something @rigid ore ?
- On beta.openai.com, connect with the stuck account.
- invit your alt account freshly created to the member as owner.
- connect with the new account and kick/delete your stuck account using the new/fresh account on beta.openai.com in the members tab.
- now your stuck account is not a part of member of any team.
- try login to chatGPT with the stuck account
- if its still stuck in a loop, connect again with the fresh account and invit back your stuck account in the members tab as owner
- try to login again to chatGPT
