There absolutely were artists within the genre who explored those themes and motifs.
Could the entire genre be defined/represented by those works? I feel that is debatable, and widely controllable through prompts as architecture, textile design, and other "mashes" (like what I did above) would result in outputs that avoid those themes.
Regardless it didn't inspire anyone, and that's OK. I'll stick with more basic subjects for the time being. 🙂
