I can use the playground and get a correct response to my question, but when I use the actual ChatGTP web app I only get errors even though they worked in the playground. Howdy all, so I had a question. So, idk if any of you ever played Golden Sun, but when you got the second game you'd input a unique string of like 80 characters and it'd produce your exact save file in the new game, right? So like, that got me thinking about the running context length of the bot. Can someone explain to me if there is any reason why one couldn't train a model on some sort of unique encoded language to where it can utilize the white space generated within user input and its own output (within the constraints of its context limit) and put some ASCII characters to do like a barcode or something that would translate the entire contents without gap while minimizing space, simultaneously maximizing the use of all output and input to allow for continued improvement & context complexity as it could simply add new parameters with each reply and even tell the user what to put in as their next input. Like someone explain like I'm 5 why that wouldn't be possible on a technical level?

Also since that might sound a bit all over the place, for example why couldn't it use like a random string of wingdings text that gets more complex each message because it builds off the "instructions" left behind in its previous output?

So, lets say each of the neuron outputs represents one token (a part of a word). And it has a finite number outputs. The more outputs it has, the more tokens it generates and the more precise is its response. Lets say you replace the language it uses with a special encrypted language. Which information is gained/lost? If you now use tokens that could refer to more words, that makes it also less precise.
If you use tokens that are more specific, it will increase the output length but it could be more detailed. Yes I suppose that could be a workaround to make it give smarter responses at the expense of longer computation.

Okay so just to close the loop here. I came home and tried and it worked (cc was not declined). My best guess, my co-working space has an IP address that says its in CA, but I am in AZ. When i came home my IP says I am in AZ so it didn't trigger whatever risk factors in stripe the CA IP did.
