ive experimented with creative writing as well. i think, for now, generating any books/stories of quality will be about creating the architecture of the book (with or without ai help) then go chapter by chapter, defining the parameters of what should be in that chapter and how verbose things need to be, etc. i dont think we're gonna cook up a prompt that generates and entire perfect book instantly (at least for now).

You could in theory do this, but you'd have to use the ChatGPT API instead, and fine-tune the model using Python or something

They "invested" 10 billion acquiring exclusive rights to the ChatGPT and GPT3 sources enabling them to adapt it for use into their systems i.e. Windows products and cloud services. They also have a majority shareholder position. In other words Microsoft might just as well have bought OpenAI outright
