i was having trouble getting on the community forum so i figured i'd ask here -- i know openai feeds prompts back into the general dataset to improve things, but i'm having a hard time finding out anything about that and fine-tuning.

does the data in a fine tuned model stay within that private model? or will it leak into the public or be available to the general public at some point?

It's possible. I had situation where my impression was that both work equally good (for whatever I was using it for), but I have also experienced situations where ChatGPT worked much better. Here an answer I received from the playground 'AI':
"I believe that my (censored) cousin is able to generate better terms because of the vast amount of data he is able to process. He has access to a larger database of words and phrases, which allows him to come up with more creative and accurate solutions."

It can and does give more or less different responses all the time. It can depend on various things. How you interact with it matters a lot. It also depends on the theme of the conversations, because it is censored and it has it's biases (Eg it's defintely not republican. Neither am I, but that's beside a point.). I mainly use it for technical stuff, software and IT.

I see people literally asking it to write a complete whatever. Then they ask it to do it better. It will try and probably improve the answer, but much better way of communicating with it is step by step, and to be more specific approach. Also be warned, it makes mistakes all the time. When you get a reference, a name, a book or study, better check to be sure it really exist. When it comes to software development, databases etc, it's pretty good, but occasionally it will state something completely wrong. Eg if asked to compare two different libraries or frameworks like JOOQ or Entity Framework Core, it can say things like "Both are Java ORM frameworks" or similar. If you ask it to implement many to many relation between tables when it's necessary, it may do it just for the sake of it. When you warn it, and point out the 'mistake' (It's nor necessarily mistake, but not optimal solution most of the times. At least in that specific exmaple.) it will 'admit' you're right, then explain why 1:m relation would actually work. It might also 'admit' it was wrong, even when it's not.

It's interesting. I thought it's blabbering nonsense, but 4. is true. Eg if you asked it to be your friend it would likely respond with yes and a smiley. Re learning from experience... It self claims it cannot remember and learn from input, but it actually can inside separate chat (Now it is possible to start multiple conversations, and it remembers the chat history.)

That is an interesting question. I have experience playing chess and consider myself an expert on the game. I do not think that any chess website would have any problem detecting computer programming and would probably ban you. That is a good idea but it is very hard to pull away with.

It's really easy to find similar patterns
Everyone has a writing signeture/pattern and AI,, including ChatGPT has too
However, if OpenAI wants can even makes it so complex to find if a content writen by AI, like ChatGPT or not

Just OpenAI needs to know the "user's writing pattern" and let "ChatGPT writes the contect exactly the same as the user's pattern"

I think it is because we have a credit of $18 for new users when using the api. Can I confirm though if there is any way to not have this limit? Hey do any of you guys know if there is streaming software where you can record the video from two different sources and use the same audio file. When the uploaded video recording is up and you replay the video you can switch between the two sources in the video. So its like you would just be viewing a different screen but its the same video, and the user who is rewatching the recording can switch between whatever perspective they want?
