it's a grey area because it is a tool to help you generate your ideas and if the chat generates citations, quotations, and refers to the original source of the concepts being covered, then you aren't pvagerizing but the question is should you give credit to chatgpt? It won't be detected as plagiarism if it sites the sources but it is up to you to be transparent on what helped write your essay

Did you know every time Chat GPT messes up or cuts off, it counts against you as of last night? I'm currently on a one hour time out due to a bot that didn't do a single task without failure. No clue how many queries we get now, but not even getting a text list to complete is sad.

It can't even have it type the numbers "1-100" without failing between 60-80 Tops. Sometimes it only goes up by 2 and cuts out, causing another tick on my usage counter. Then it starts all over again and fails all over again, for 5 hours on 1 html list.

Quick question about GPT models in general. These are trained on enormous amounts of data, including programming languages. Is there a reason why such generalised models are used? what's the downside of specialised models (e.g. specialised to specific subjects ChatGPTforC++, ChatGPTforFiction, ChatGPTforChemistry)? Surely this reduces the size of the load, allowing such smaller models to be used on limited hardware?

Restarting your computer will do nothing. OpenAI are not transparent on what their cloud tech is, but it's likely either AWS or AzureCloud. Both are paid for services. When considering the volume of people using the service, they need to balance expenditure to performance. If its not working for you, likely you just caught the short straw and you have to wait some time for either the cloud services to be scaled up, or for the number of concurrent users to drop.

Yep, that will happen. you can be literally sat next to someone using the service. If the cloud service is at capacity (server side), there is absolutely zero you can do (client side), apart from waiting. sorry bud. patience and reload your browser.

That's a tough question - how long is a piece of string. it can be 5 mins, it could be 1 hour. Remember its Saturday, most people aren't working today, it's very likely that weekends and evenings are peak usage hours.
