Spanish slugs. Called mördarsniglar (murderer slugs) in Swedish. Last summer I slept under a tarp in my mom's backyard when I was visiting, because I like to sleep outside as much as possible. There were hundreds if not thousands of these all over the grass. At least I slept in a mosquito net, or they would have been sliming all over me. 😖

I once had the idea of genetically modified ants. Ants have a social structure and a large variation in insect capabilities that you could expand on. In this case: they could be kept in the house and collect dust, create webs in ventilation shafts to collect dust and debris (when full it is eaten and the garbage disposed off). They could live off any food you throw away and even pre-clean your dishes. They could also be used to deal with pests or insects that get in the house. Because you want to have a handle on these things you make them a color rarely seen in nature to make them easily identify able: blue. Also make them sterile so they only reproduce in labs and if one escapes its not a big deal

Sometimes, one must stand in the darkness in order to see the light

I initially made an image with this prompt back in early October. The idea was to have a man in a shadowed room representing loss and despair, while a burst of color representing happiness and hope could be seen underneath a locked door to the room. My hope was to convey the idea that there is hope even when someone is in a dark place mentally. My primary use-case for OpenAI is to use Dall-E as a form of self-therapy and put words/images to my feelings. With text to image AI Models like Dall-E, I am able to see how my feelings might look in a visual format with the words I use to represent them.

I will continue posting images for today's daily theme using rule of thirds. It is also worth mentioning balancing your composition as discussed in wikipedia article: for example keeping one main light source to the image, and having an equal amount light and dark to make image feel "balanced".

I should mention that DALLE did get confused several times, and actually used white lines to segment the images into thirds, even when I said not to do that.
