Yeah. It is a probabilistic language model, so it is bound to struggle a lot with deterministic mathematics, which is fundamentally different. You might want to look into interfacing chatGPT with something like wolfram alpha

GPT-4 answer: ```To find the percentile of a bag with 1475 chocolate chips, we can use the z-score formula:

z = (X - μ) / σ

where X is the number of chocolate chips in the bag (1475), μ is the mean (1252), and σ is the standard deviation (129).

z = (1475 - 1252) / 129 ā‰ˆ 1.73

Now, we can use a z-score table or a calculator with a built-in standard normal distribution function to find the percentile associated with this z-score. A z-score of 1.73 corresponds to approximately the 95.7th percentile.

So, a bag containing 1475 chocolate chips is in the 95.7th percentile.```

The take-home essay component of the midterm exam is designed to give you an opportunity to integrate and bring together what you have learned in the course so far.
You may use any/all of the materials utilized in the course to date, but you are not expected (nor ought you to) use outside sources. This is not a research paper but an opportunity to try to apply what you have learned so far, to internalize it in a way that makes it most meaningful to you
Select one of the questions below and write a four (4) to six (6) page essay in which you develop an analysis or argument as befits the question.
Essays are to be submitted online.
Essay Questions:

  1. Describe and discuss the various understandings of police culture and personality and indicate why these might be important to questions of organizational change and police reform, as well as issues associated with accountability and discretion
  2. Since its very inception, reform has been an ongoing project of the modern public professional police institution. Identify some of the various ways that the key features of the institution have been transformed and some of the key rationales associated with these transformations.
  3. Policing seems particularly susceptible to myths and misconceptions with respect to its everyday realties, occupational character and institutional culture. Discuss some of these mths and misconceptions and indicate some of the ways that the empirical research with respect to the true character of policing dispels and challenges these.
  4. Drawing on your course readings, describe and discuss the problem of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls and explore some of the ways that police have responded to the problem.
  5. Policing has been challenges from within and from without. Discuss some of these challenges and police responses.
  6. Wild Card

INSTRUCTIONS: PREPARING YOUR ESSAY: FORMATING REQUIREMENTS

  1. The FORM of the ESSAY: A formal essay has a logically structured explanatory form that attempts to clarify a writer's single dominant idea or thesis relevant to a specific subject in criminology. Your essay will have a specific and standardized format consisting of:
    • A title page,
    • An introduction
    • A THESIS STATEMENT - PLEASE UNDERLINE.
    • Adequately spaced pages,
    • A concluding section.
  2. The introduction of your paper is very important. The major theme or topic of your paper should be developed according to the funnel structure, starting at a broad level and narrowing toward the thesis statement with each subsequent sentence. The sentence immediatelv following the statement of the thesis should introduce the remaining subtopics of the paper.
  3. The specific requirements are as follows:
    • Length: The body of the paper must be between four (4) complete double-spaced pages in length but no more than six (6) - not including title page.
    • Format: Your paper must be typed or word processed; handwritten papers will not be accepted.
    • Margins: All margins should be no larger than 1 inch, and please use only 10 or 12 point type.
Pagination: Papers must include page numbers.
Citations: A separate citations page is necessary since your sources may include some of
    the course readings (Skolnick 81).

I don't want an AGI monopolized by a large company like openai, so I'm experimenting with different models and methods. Instead, we need help. Please contact me personally.

Data entry and processing jobs: AI can automate data entry and processing tasks such as form filling, data extraction, and data analysis.

Customer service and support jobs: AI-powered chatbots can handle customer inquiries, complaints, and support requests, reducing the need for human customer service representatives.

Manufacturing and assembly line jobs: AI-powered robots and automation can perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks in manufacturing and assembly line environments.

Transportation and logistics jobs: Self-driving cars and trucks, as well as drone technology, could potentially replace human drivers and delivery workers.

Financial analysis and accounting jobs: AI can analyze financial data and assist with accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, tax preparation, and auditing.

GPT still magically creates API that doesn't exist and makes incorrect assumptions about how to accomplish certain tasks. Besides that, being a good developer isn't about just writing code. It's about troubleshooting and understanding how systems interact. You have to consider ways to optimize and the pros/cons of using which technology. AI can't do that. It might replace data entry, just like we replaced coal mining, but it will be a long time before machines are self sufficient enough to self-develop. They will be a tool for good developers to be better developers, just like CoPilot does.

The other issue with AI in general is that all of our training models are based off human-generated content even if some of it is procedurally generated. That means anything a computer can do is something a human had to be able to do and document first. Which means that, as far as software is concerned, a real developer who can actually conceptualize a new idea is far more beneficial than AI

It doesn't. Here is the answer GPT4 gave me: As a language model based on the GPT-4 architecture, I am an advanced version of GPT-3, which has 175 billion parameters. While the exact number of parameters in GPT-4 is not explicitly mentioned, it's safe to assume that it's significantly larger than GPT-3, potentially in the range of hundreds of billions or even trillions of parameters. These parameters help me better understand and generate human-like text based on the input I receive.

First, we need to convert the strings to numbers:

-510, 15, 10, 4, 00010, 000002000, 50005000104, 2100, 242105, 713, -59

Now, we can sort these numbers in ascending order:
