Why restrict tournaments like this?

Once again, despite numerous calls to change them, Ludia give us a tournament where a huge chunk of the players can’t enter it!

There is absolutely no reason for this to happen.

What difference would it make to allow the full roster of creatures from common up to apex in this weeks tournament?

Why punish new and lower level players like this?

An answer from the powers that be would be nice @true dune

There are four different topics about brawl in this channel which have had activity on them in the last week, and there's been zero feedback from a Ludia representative on any of them. If they cared there would've been something. They clearly don't. Just treating the game as a cash cow now it seems.

It's a shame as I obviously still like the game despite all of its flaws (otherwise I wouldn't keep playing it), but it seems like their business model is to destroy either the relationship with the players of the game or the game itself

Wasnt there also a time or two where maintenance took nearly an entire day of brawl while getting nothing in return

I'd like to let everyone in this thread know that I am sharing this feedback with the team and will ask them to please not have unique+apex as a restriction in the future.

Its fine to have it as a restriction as long as it also includes the lower rarities so everyone can praticipate

But also except when the restrictions are thoughtless and just make balancing issues worse. Like no stuns as an example.
How many times have we had this exact same restriction? It was fun the first time but now it just downright sucks to have spent resources into a creature that stuns.

I think that one may be because of the bugs surrounding stuns ever since the growth guide update- they could be doing this to gather data in order to fix it, but thats just speculation on my end.

I have no issues with restricting it to unique + aoex, but they should include 8-10 commons in EVERY tourney so all levels can at least enter... If someone only has 7 uniques and Apex, they are completely locked out of this tourney for example.
Just a teamsworth of commons always included would be fine...

This is nothing wrong with this format, it’s just at bare minimum epic should be allowed in higher rarity formats
