Buffing the Right Creatures

There is nothing wrong with the rizzaurus buff, but you wouldn’t say there are other creatures more deserving of a buff? Dilozorion, aquilotae, sah, arctovasilas, plateorex, glyptosavis… Oh and don’t even get me started with draco intrepidus. Its reactive got adjusted in a previous patch, but got ZERO adjustments to its actual kit. Which was really a slap in the face for the draco fans, considering ludia was in fact aware of draco but refused to give it at least one actual adjustment that benefits it.

My point is, can we focus on the more obviously deserving creatures when it comes to rebalances? I mean I think every creature in a rarity should have similar power scaling to one another, but we just have so many creatures that barely have any use or are just straight up useless.

Diloz couldn’t get that great of a buff bc of the creatures it’s made with could get better for sure but not much Draco should be better can’t lie it’s definitely underpowered Aquilo is still pretty useful it beats spinotops ampelo and titano so I think that’s fine plateo is balanced arcto and glypto def need it

Another creture that should get buffed would be ankylos lux. It has became a damn wildcard somehow despite the fact it was always a tank unit

I like the adjustments that were done for atroco, but why only one creature?

Couldnt we buff more creatures that needed it?

I mean at some point we used to get 5 rebalances minimum per patch, and it was a cool source of content for the game

Because Ludia never did those- we had multiple random buffs per update under jam city, they are gone now and it's back to solely Ludia.

Aquilotae and Dilozorion do not need buffs, those creatures have some great matchups as is

this also means drawbacks to overperforming creatures. Spinotops is a prime example, having just 2 guaranteed Head to Head counters, Atrom and Geosterbergia. The rest (Indoc, Indolycan, Ankylos Lux) being RNG reliant (Spinotops wins if it crits/hits through dodge)

that's not true though...Becklejara loses to Gemdeus, with the correct attack order. And it also loses against Clever Girl, Fukuiraptor, Rajadorixis, and a couple others

I'm not disagreeing Becklejara needs some kind of nerf as well

They need to start balancing more pvp creatures. There are currently 5 creatures in the "S tier" on paleo.gg's usage tierlist. Let's start there

Tbh they should start with some legendaries and work there way up like a butterfly effect, since kentro got a good buff ankyntrosaurus should in my opinion get a similar buff instead of a yuxisaurus move (good move but the heal makes it feel out of place)

So, Mortem Rex just got three moves that cleanses vulnerability when it's already immune to it. Do you think dev should fix that? Cause i would, it doesn't make any sense to have moves that cleanses something it's already immune at.

Old creatures were being ignored, and they need a fix or a rebalance in stats and movesets.

That is, if the devs are planning to anyways.....

Those moves arnt aimed directly at mort, they are aimed as the general “fierce” class which has that cleanse effect

Definitely we need some older dinosaurs that need a buff or re-work for example Arctovasilas because it sucks in battles and I think it needs a buff or a re-work, but we still have not gotten the buff or re-work for it yet.

I can accept basically every change (Fukui and Tholus were both wildly overpowered)... but Spino needs to be rolled back. It was already falling off and now it's basically a bit better than raidpexes.

Really the only thing I was praising and advocating for were the buffs. The nerfs didn’t make much sense

Nerf spino, fukui and tholus to the ground… But leave bjara and rizzaurus untouched? Great, what do we have now that can deal with those two reliably

These latest pointless nerfs were the last straw for me. All the time and resources I poured into those three were a complete waste of my time thanks to Ludia and their sleazy bait & switch nonsense. I cancelled VIP and deleted the game. What an insult.

Also Baryotor (unless you take into account swap out, which in that case, I doubt most creatures have a proper counter)
