Crits doesn’t bring anything to the game, make the game with as less RNG as possible

You have a really great point, but it's impossible 😅 it's like ask for acuatic creatures

near tundra
#

it would make the game more competitive, having to rely on luck kills strategy

#

that’s the same issue with pokemon, I don’t see why there should be RNG in these games

#

I can understand the dodge system entirely makes the cunning class so they may keep that or rework it, but crits are just useless and non necessary

Yes yes, I also wish things like stun, dodge or critical were 100% or 0, I understand why you ask for it and I am also in favor, but what I mean is that there are already so many things In the game, there are so many dinosaurs, tournament themes, and calendars, revolving around the critical and RNG that it's practically impossible for them to implement it; they barely pay any attention to us when we complain about tournaments and dinosaurs that need nerfing, asking for something so big is almost a dream.

Yes, though just removing crits would be already a big step

#

stunning odds and stuff aren’t as frustrating as crits as theyre more likely to happen

#

but getting crit and see your dino die then lose the game on that and all because of a 10% dice is just wrong

#

and even if you’re the one getting a crit it’s just not gratifying winning this way at all

then make their ability crit automatically

#

they can keep that but the crits odds are what’s wrong with it

#

they could make a system where you can choose to make a crit by sacrificing 10% speed for exemple there are tons of way to put it way better than it is currently

lavish oak
#

Yes, but it would definitely need its own update, asking for it never hurts, I think they've already realized that we hate RNG, but I find it difficult they do something really

near tundra
#

they won’t do it ever anyway but there is definitely things that could be done

#

Crits and misses makes a bit more sense on pokemon since there won’t be any reason not to pick Hydro pump over surf and any other water move for exemple but as for JWA it’s different

Also I thought the thing were you see how much damage is done it takes into account Crit but idk I haven’t payed to much attention to that

That would make Indochicyon even more useless

Crits have been a thing for the entire game
Several creatures are built around a crit playstyle

near tundra
# open mesa This has to be bait

No it’s not , all these few creatures can just get a rework easily plus I don’t see why the fact it has been there for a long time doesn’t mean it can be removed you don’t make any sense

open mesa
#

its part of the game

#

its frustrating sometimes but I think it makes sense to stay

This entire game is a giant casino at this point and everything is balanced around rng

#

Might as well delete the game

Remove stun resist (not immunity) would have more sense, than remove crit. It's literally in every game, it's a basic mechanic, and like in Pokémon there are creatures and moves that has guaranteed crit chance, but not this make the fights so unbalanced.
Fights are unbalanced because of the omegas who can have 90% crit chance with 200% crit dmg, the lack of arenas, apex creatures that has too complicated and op moves, the p2w mechanic and of course enhancements (I hate that apex can be enhancemented too)

There are just too many things in the fight system, that crit is nothing to them (alert, absorb, revenge, no escape, on escape moves, affliction and imo reduce/increase heal are so unnecessary in pvp and etc.)

So the problem is not the critical hit, but so many else

Only problem with crit, and it's only with omegas.... This one should be nerfed

lavish oak
#

Nah, because that's the idea of those omegas, and they are not even meta, maybe Sinraptor, but in general they are very vulnerable, and in the case of 93, it's not his best build

covert belfry
#

I know, but I still think that this is too much to give the omegas, I get it they are just "regular" dinosaurs and you can modify them as you want, but 100% crit chance ehh

lavish oak
#

Just something different and unusual, which in specific situations can get you into trouble, but nothing better than the best conventional dinos

covert belfry
#

Well it's not that common situation, so it's not that serious problem, but I still think it it's unbalanced, especially on tournament

shadow badge
#

The biggest issue is sin raptor, you need affliction resistance or your not swapping from 21+

#

and it can’t be stunned either

So without a good on escape it’s basically swap bait

Where's the excitement in gambling with rng?
