#The game has become repetitive and bland, despite the constant creature dumping.

One thing I realized about the recent changes to the usual events of the game, is how the variety in events has decreased and become monotonous as time goes on.

  1. All Isla events have the same rewards each round, and I'm almost tempted to say even the roster stays the same. (Not certain, but sure feels like it)

  2. While darting has changed for events depending on what's available, event incubators have been seen to be the same every week in terms of rewards and limits, rather than changing depending on the event to give event exclusive DNA.

  3. The season pass rewards are the worst of this situation, having map creatures become event exclusive while the mascot creature for the pass (In this current case is Tyrannodactylus) is locked behind the pay wall while all we get is the incubators and maybe an emote or two.

In conclusion, if this keeps up, the game is doomed to die as people will stop playing/covering it.

Yeah, making every new thing exclusive means I care way less since I'm not able to ever get a complete dinodex as f2p (I'm not taking about fully leveled, just unlocked) - which I was able to do until the last few months. Also, I have like zero interest in 90% of the dna they give out in towers, Isla, arena season now... and looking at ESD creatures on the calendar this week - yawn -. Endless exclusives and boring gameplay does not lead to an energetic fanbase that will spend money.

Looking back at old videos from the Gaming Beaver made me realize how fun it was when events were designed for people to try and grind for new creatures. Now, everything is planned out, leaving little to no room to properly experiment. There is no point going out to dart aside from the event drops because all the important creatures are exclusive or incubators from the pass or Isla events. You could try to argue you need the other creatures to do tournaments, but now those are restricted too as they only allow certain creatures, which are from event exclusives too, and even the best creatures to use in Isla events are from the Isla event rewards (Diloracheirus, Alankylodactylus, Etc...)

One I can confirm is mostly the same (the isla reward creatures and any of the hybrids) with some other creatures. But the mostly static roster means that what it was previously like a nuzlocke challenge forcing you to try different creatures/strategies is now doing the same thing (no like seriously. Now I just put Plateorex in everything that doesn't have DoT and if they do, I just sacrifice useless creatures for the boss in those fights)

Yeah, me too, except I use Diloracheirus and Alankylodactylus

The old system with variety in strikes, and events was much preferable. It’s not much fun getting the same thing over and over and over again
