I can't even describe how excited I am for this sudden change in attitude towards bug fixes and quality of life improvements!!!!
I've been a gamer my entire life and to see this game going from caring about these fixes at the absolute lowest priority compared to all other games I've played, to now being "VERY focused on Quality of Life improvements and outstanding bugs" and also saying "bug tackling is a high priority" is absolutely HUUUUUGE!!!!! And we know it's possible because we've all seen how quickly any in-store bugs are fixed, usually within hours of the first reports. Again, I'm just so excited for this sudden shift and just can't wait for the next update and seeing the lengthy list of patch fixes!

I thought it would be helpful to create a place here for the community to list all the long and forgotten bugs and quality of life improvements. So everyone please help out by listing all these outdated fixes.

#

I'll get the ball rolling. At the"Waiting for opponents to be ready" screen the game stops trying to find a match after approx 15 seconds. So there is absolutely need the countdown to be an entire minute long. Can this bug be fixed so that it actually continues trying to find a match for the whole minute? Or better yet, reduce the countdown length?

#

And while on the topic of this waiting screen, can the wording on this screen be updated? Right now it is worded to make it seem as if the other player is at fault for not being "ready". When really all a player can do is press a single button and then wait themselves. Surely a more appropriate description could be used here. A super minor thing but just feels very wrong that the blame is thrown towards the player.

Can we stop seeing the welcome to the dpg message from Claire every time we switch to our continental location. Thanks for the focus, look forward to the fix. 😊

I think you missed the part where they admitted collecting dna was becoming overwhelming so what they did was making some of the creatures in the wild event exclusive because you know it wasn’t overwhelming enough

This right here!
I went from being able to dart hundreds of DNA daily to being reduced to an awarded handful amount each week.

Removed from map around 8/14/24:
Common Plateosaurus- which is needed for the Unique/Apex builds that came out earlier this year (Jan/March).
Rare Preondactylus, Dreadnoughtus- ingredients needed for upcoming new Apex Hybrid Alankydactylus.
Granted, they were Zone specific but still available in the wild to dart.

Common Deinocheirus/Rare Dilophosaurus were also removed with this distribution change.... wonder if any are ingredients to upcoming Apex Dilozorion....

I reminded my alliance to dart as much as possible the following dinos cause they will be removed by next week. And with the way things are going, will be needed for upcoming builds.
Common Purussaurus Gen 2 (Zone 2)
Rare Delta (Zone 3)
Legendary Parasaurolophus (Short Range)
Unique Thoradolosaur (Short Range)
Omega Diabloceratops (Short Range)

#

If they wanted all players of all levels the opportunity to level up and grow their teams then why not add Rare Skorpiovenator to the map! It's much needed ingredient for the Apex Cerastegotops that came on 9/18/24. Oh but in order to create that we need to create Unique Skorpiostegotops which came out on 9/11/24. Oh but wait.... in order to create that we need to create Ledendary Skorpiodactylus which came out on 8/15/24....
So yeah how about making Rare Skorpiovenator a little more accessible than just event exclusive?

it is accessible in the shop...

Here's another bug that's been around for forever. Can everyone's trophies be made visible when you look at your friends and recently battles lists? Right now it only randomly shows a few and the rest you need to look at the entire alliance to see their trophies.

It's also been almost two years since they said epic Haast Eagle would be dartable. Would've been nice to have the dna when they buffed Poukandactylus, especially for newer players

Looking forward to the sporadic "logged in on another device" message going also

#

3 of the rares that got buffed have bugs

#

With Mutual Bloodthirst's attack increase not carrying over to the next turn like the rest of team damage increase abilities with the same attack counter, Charlie's Pounce having the same problem, and Precise Bound and Bite not distracting (why does this not even distract and have 2cd)

balmy swallow
#

It's just precise double strike with 2cd

#

💀

#

W echo nerf fr

sudden spoke
#

I see it as a precise pounce with 2 cd, and a not so often helpful dual hit

If only it was precise pounce and bite like they said and I'm pretty sure was intended and they didn't want to change it

#

How does the name even fit lol

balmy swallow
#

Which is a bug, the move itself along with the icon intends for it to distract

sudden spoke
balmy swallow
#

That's one of the 3 bugs lol

worthy crypt
#

Thanks to those also posting other outstanding bugs!

#

Here's another one that's plagued the game since near the beginning. Friendly battle invites. You'd be lucky if both you and your friend restarted the game half a dozen times before finally getting one of the invites to go through. How many more years is this feature going to remain broken for?
If it does get fixed can some improvements be made? Like the ability to only choose a team of 4 for a friendly battle so that you can actually test the thing you wanted to test. And the ability to choose between skill style or advantage style friendly battles.

Still need POIs around here💀

sudden spoke
balmy swallow
#

I keep tryna say that most routes and some back roads still need POIs

#

They're basically reliant on the driveways or roads corresponding them for however long they become blank for

#

Also making it harder to get short-range spawns and spawns in general, considering there's not much ON them, rather BY them

#

Drop distribution is also weird with this system in those areas as well

#

Some areas mostly orange

sudden spoke
#

Hmm, I guess I just never got too affected by it after a while of fixes

balmy swallow
#

(With only 1 rarity, if they overlap in an event) if any green drops, and usually omegas/uniques

Closely populated areas get way more of the other rarity of event being overlapped if there's enough surrounding the map (example: a city)

balmy swallow
#

or non-rural life*

sudden spoke
balmy swallow
#

so just a comparison on how rural then

sudden spoke
#

Quite rural lol

balmy swallow
#

well

#

are back roads most of what you find stuff on?

sudden spoke
#

Nearly noone plays any games that are better with a community, crop fields surround our small city, nearest big name market is a city over away

#

By small, I mean it's all the same local area even

balmy swallow
#

a lot of areas here are mostly route-related

#

commute to get somewhere especially

sudden spoke
#

Fairly consistent in jwa throughout (for pokemon go though, it's really only downtown that's surprising for how small and unknown our area is filled)

balmy swallow
#

which also makes it harder if you aren't tracking to go directly to a creature, (because you don't have the ability to go directly to the creature)

#

there is like

sudden spoke
balmy swallow
#

ONE area

sudden spoke
#

Thankfully if it does spawn I can usually reach it

balmy swallow
#

that was purely blank, but got a chain of drops along it over by an intersection after an eventual update

#

however, it was just for that road, the rest of it is blank

balmy swallow
#

there were some SMALL improvements, but

#

there's still a TON of blankness

#

so yeah that issue still persists and hinders the main point of the game

sudden spoke
#

I had alot of blank towards the start of the issue but it improved to the point I didn't know the problem still existed (especially with noone talking about it anymore)

balmy swallow
#

thats why I keep bringing it up

#

it's still effective on people, even if it's small

#

Some people have it harder

sudden spoke
balmy swallow
#

Especially DinoDad, idk if he ever got spawns alongside his route at all ever

fix the "go to the map and create eligible creatures" message that appears in isla when players clearly do have them

worthy crypt
#

Well surprise, surprise. Update release notes are out and it's the usual tiny list of bug fixes and an ever increasing list of bugs not fixed / ignored and not included in the known issues list.
A person would think that if they make a big community announcement about how high they prioritize fixing bugs that maybe, just maybe, they would at least increase their current priority of abysmally low to just a tad higher. But nope, nothing has changed. How disappointing.

Skill issue (ignore me I like calling things that have nohting to do with skill skill issue)

tidal vigil

"bug tackling is a high priority"
Releases update notes, fixing major bugs still not even attempted.
