Can we not have a new apex, unique, omega, or legendary creature that completely changes the meta and pvp? Why not more commons, epics, and rares? Or more features that don't involve PvP?

We are at a point in time where they will not stop unless we stop.
If we do not give them money and get the broken creatures, then they wont have an incentive to regurgitate more of these.
The release of three apexes in a single update is overwhelming to catch up to that it is almost compulsory to spend money if you want a chance at climbing the arenas, which is only ever an option if you are a person like, say IDGT who probably has probably a big wallet.
The way they are producing these updates and creatures are very likely a way for them to bank on more money, microtransactions are their priority here, which is becoming very plausible given how much they have overwhelmed many of us with the release of apexes nonstop, all of which overshadow the raid apexes.

yeah, at this point they're milking the last dollars they can doing the minimum possible effort, it's all whales fault, the showed up to ludia that all they need to keep spending is ridiculous broken stuff and the designs doesn't matter if they're powerful enough
if they stop spending they'll just close the game and move on

In the end, the devs will win, it is one-sided.
As Drakonite has said, they will very likely close the game if we do not make them money, they will keep this game up if it is giving them profit, and if we dont make them money by buying microtransactions for the metric of apexes they have been flustering, Concatoloch, Sah Panthera, Draco Lux, Plateorex and the newly released Magnaraptor, they wont continue supporting the game and lead it into a fate that JPB did.
Aslong as they keep making money, they will not quit and will not stop putting the bare minimum in aslong as they see a rise in money, and if we rally together and stop giving them our money, they wont have an incentive to continue the game.
It goes either way, either we keep the game in the state it is in currently, which we are not very receptive of, or we stop giving the devs oppurtunities to inflate their income, which in the end, leads to the end of the game, which is a very unfortunate situation.
