The creature designs for hybrids have gone downhill over the last several updates (when new hybrids were even present), but this latest batch takes the cake. So much squandered potential for what could have been really cool hybrid designs, but instead appear unfinished and lazy, and like they barely have anything to do with their components. Starting to wonder if this game has been given up on entirely and if i should follow suit. No point wasting time or money on something if it's circling the drain.

Lots of awful designs. Biggest wasted potential was Skoonametrodon. Atrocimoloch had an awesome dragon design that leaked but we got a raptor with a head head.

Lots of them don’t even look like their components.

Remember when hybrids would have moved based off their parent ingredients? Now it’s just whatever makes it OP to sell.

At this point they could put dirt on a plate and make it OP and the whales would buy it and since it sells we will get more dirt on plates.

Don’t fix what’s not broken right? Despite the game being broken, the sales aren’t and that’s what matters.

I remember being pumped for Magnaraptor and Pantheratops, two designs that just.. never happened. Instead making the boring Big Jaw cat (AND KEEPING THE MEGALOTOPS MOVES) for.. reasons? It's just stupid at this point. They've got a loyal userbase, and they're neglecting us because they didn't want to pay the legacy design team. If nothing else it's proof that workers rights improve product quality.

Magnaraptor (the incubator pic) that I saw looked amazing. Magna and alloraptor are 2 of the best designs in the game and that was going to make an awesome looking hybrid. Im sure with the team now we will get a raptor with a purple head instead now.

I was so mad Skoonametrodon didn’t have the big sail and better colors. The skoona head bumps was just a lazy design and hideous.

All these cats are ugly and stupid. I want dinosaurs in a Jurassic game not cats, dogs, bears, turtles, deers, and more 😑😩🤦‍♂️🙄.

Guess everyone is happy they got cat-dog now.

Honestly, if anyone at Jam City actually reads these: Bring back the old designers. Give them whatever they ask for in compensation for the inconvenience of being fired. You'll lose your entire userbase otherwise. I don't know if your new designers are just bad, or you're underpaying them and they lack passion for the work they're doing, but the current plan is shooting you in the foot.

that’s one of the stupidest decisions they made. The old design team was so much better. Designs from the current art team are just pure laziness.

I’m glad you made a suggestion post about this. More people need to speak on this matter. Otherwise the designs will just keep getting worse.

I agree with everyone, the new design team is just plain straight lazy. I mean when the Concatoloch name leaked I was excited to see Concatosaurus with Tuoromoloch but instead got that garbage. And then Giganspinoceratops and Plateospikasaur are just on another level of horrible I mean they barely resemble their previous counterparts, I mean giganspinoceratops doesn’t even have the giant spikes sticking out of its back, it barely looks like a stegosaur at all. It’s just disappointing. They gave so much hype for this update and were all like “yeah we even changed the format to look cooler” but barely took notice of how bad the designs were. Just threw it together and then expected people to be proud of them. I want to quit playing but at the same time they won’t care. As long as the rich people are still buying they won’t notice a few people quitting the game.

I hope jam city goes bankrupt and gets karma for destroying an amazing game. And plenty of other games from Ludia. Just disappointing how we can’t do a thing to change it.
