For people who know this game, you know that there's the creepiest dinosaur in the Jurassic franchise is in the discontinued Jurassic Park game.

The Troodon and I'm not talking about the one which was added to the game as an epic. I'd adore if this game would add the Troodon as flock dinosaur-maybe even a flock omega would be interesting.

Troodon is a dubious name tho.
Also, wouldn’t it suck to have another omega since you can only dart so many of them?

dusky venture
#

It's not necessarily dubious, if you know of the game and it's lore-it's a very threatening creature and the dinosaur itself is theorized as the smartest in the world.

The omega idea was just an idea since it's a newly introduced rarity and this animal would show it's abilities/intelligence more throughout the game encounters (just as you do with omega level ups)

In jp it's not dubious but in reality troodon is just a tooth and I have no idea where the whole smartest dinosaur in the world thing came from

Troodon is known as one of the most intelligent dinosaur in articles and even documentaries (including the newest prehistoric planet docuseries), this is due to it's large brain ratio to small body along with the feathers being able to preserve a lot of energy so that it can use more energy to learn and adapt to it's climate.

Troodon also started off as a tooth fossil but eventually more was discovered since 1856

I think you may be talking about troodontids like latenavenatrix because troodon itself is a invalid genus

Herrerrasaurus is also in the game if i remember. I like the ig designs, but itd be cool if we got an actual herrerra with 5 digited limbs, since the ones ig have only 3 if i rememeber

Sorry about the miscommunication but my main point was that since the Jurassic Park game gave these fictional versions a reputation where the Isla Nublar predators were scared of, it would seem interesting to have them eventually put in the game as a sort of flock creature.

#

Herrerrasaurus is not in the JWA game but it would be neat to have them. I've always wanted to have gen 2 of deinocheirus and velociraptor to have them give them a different design and a rare alternative.

I also heard they were planning to finally put commons and rares but never got around to it but if they do; it would be neat to see dinosaurs such as nigersaurus, mononkyus, lambeosaurus, hesperonis, oxalaia, and jakapil added.

They could work as the same rig as the dilos
No more flocks pls lol

#

Raptor rig for troodon

dusky venture
#

Nah no more flocks for awhile, I saw the new frog and I'm like "oh no...what's this???"

#

I think the problem with flocks is that not a lot of dinosaurs have "attack all opponents moves" so it's just bothersome to get around them unless you have a hard hitter

atomic ridge
#

Problems vary from flock to flock but the lack of group moves is def a big factor

#

While not everything shouldnt have a group move atleast 80% of dinos should be reworked to get atleast 1 useful group move

dusky venture
#

I thought of a flock idea for the Troodon because they worked in flocks for the game-kinda like a pack/team mentality.

Definitely, especially since there's only 2 common and 13 rare dinosaurs that actually do attack all opponents. 97 total out of the 346 (28%)

Rule #1: game design over canon/irl logic

#

Itd be neat reference but its likely going into overkill territory, which the lower rarities absolutely do not need

True but sometimes this game infuriates me how their game design is off but they still manage to make a meta that p2w people get off the bat and rule the arena with.

Dreadnoughtus is the only actual usable one there. Maybe ankylocodon but i dont see it too often in higher ranks before

dusky venture
#

I'm okay with a game being somewhat unbalanced but when I come back and my dinosaurs are chew toys but used to be decent for my arena

atomic ridge
#

P2w or generally unbalanced gameplay. You cant choose both imo

If you want a good game
But mobile and licensed games are always a recipe for disaster tbh

dusky venture
#

This game was not always so p2w which is the funny thing but since these past few years it became a real problem and they don't really wanna fix it

atomic ridge
#

It was always p2w. But it was never this bad

#

There was sense back then that f2p could accomplish something big with actual perseverance and actually feel rewarding than just "thank goodness this is over" type of relief

#

And the p2w crowd wasnt thrown in at the f2p crowd to make the latter fodder. The p2ws could have fun without kicking the f2ps in the face

I mean, 100 dollars for most deals??? Super overpriced for any specific items, the pass is divided into two paths which you pay premium for.

I never had VIP but I know the benefits have always been the same even with all these new updates. Kinda unfair to the people-especially when they ask you to pay for pass exclusive when they can just let VIPs have that.

#

F2p?

#

Oh nvm I understand what that means

#

Yeah I remember there was this exclusivity the p2w people have but then they all kinda grouped the f2p and p2w people together more and it's just super unstable.

I have new players come in and they immediately go "woah, what is thissss??? That's not fair at all" and all I can do is go ┐(゚~゚)┌

I remember back then, you had to work hard for what's given now like candy but also with the restrictions on some stuff like coins-it's still a struggle to reach to the top when you're oh so close and the only way to get there is to slither around people who bought their way up.

There were 3 of them in the original Jurassic park but were found dead after the cleanup to be specific

#

There's a ton of creatures missing from the game, canon or not, ludia really doesn't care about them at all, remember that they added panthera blytheae, a species that basically no one knew before adding the ceratosaurus that we've been asking for for years and it still wouldn't be in the game at all if we weren't specifically asking for it's addition

#

I would also like to respond to the "Troodon is an invalid genus thus adding it wouldn't make sense" with the fact that the canon species of the dilophosaurus is "venenifer " and for the Compsognathus is "triassicus" both of which are invalid species but are still canon to the films but also the Troodon that we have in game is, while an invalid genus still in the game and canon to the films as well

True, I didn’t think about the other dubious creatures Ludia added to JWA.

Also dakotaraptor is a dubious genus I think
