Part of it too is i think he was worried about paying a bunch / having a bill, which i dont think should be an issue since its a publically funded hospital, from how it was explained to me, sounds like the taxpayer / subways / etc pay for it

Oh thats standard here, in ERs. If you're note actively dying or seriously injured then you're kept in basically a waiting room with a couple monitors hooked up to you if needed. If he needed to stay down then thats their nice way of saying it because if he's disoriented and trying to get up he could end up hurting himself or someone else. From what I've heard from nurses i know, its usually that or they need to get another nurse + security to get soft restraints or something and thats not fun at all.

On January 31, at the show, I spent the entire night with someone and it genuinely turned into one of the best nights of my life. We danced, talked, laughed, and shared one of those rare connections that just happens without effort.
