not any guided yoga but there is a warm up period for stretching and the first half of the practice is slow paces. starts with mediation, goes into breathwork, tai chi and then improv movement that it builds into higher paced and drops back down and ends with mediation. Queens is great honestly. It’s a huge melting pot, so you can find pretty much any food or culture you’re looking for. There are definitely parts I love, but growing up here I’ve also always pictured having a little more space one day. Like a driveway and not circling the block forever for parking. Lots of pros and cons for sure. How is Austin? I’ve been twice and loved the vibe, but I haven’t spent enough time there to really know what it’s like to live there.

I really love that about Austin, how much of an outdoor city it is. Those huge outdoor pools in the big park, I’m blanking on the name, were honestly one of the things that made me want to apply to schools down there. It just felt so nice. I totally get what you mean about a city starting to feel small after a while. I weirdly feel the same way about New York, even with things constantly changing and new places opening and closing. It still feels really familiar to me. I’d definitely be open to moving somewhere new too, even if it was just for a few years. Going out here can be fun, but it’s also so expensive. I genuinely don’t know how I afforded life right out of college💸

Omg same 😭 Denver has been high on my list to move to because of Red Rocks. I went to my first show there a little after COVID to see Lane 8, and that venue genuinely changed my life. I go back at least a few times a year now because I’m so in love with it. Every time I visit, I spend time in different parts of Denver and just discover new things, and I’m always like yeah, this place has a lot to offer. It gives me a feeling I haven’t really gotten from other cities, and coming from New York, I could honestly see myself living there.

Yea if you love the outdoors and skiing or snowboarding perfect place. Just have to get used to the altitude. I feel drunk way quicker there. It’s a beautiful venue. Got to see Skrillex there in 2023 and 2025 as well as Justice in 2025. Some of the best shows of my life. Their lineup of shows for all genres is legendary every year

It was honestly great. It was one of my first no-phones shows, a This Never Happened set, so they lock your phone in a pouch and you can only unlock it in designated areas. Basically no one was on their phone, which I loved. I’m not someone who’s on my phone much at shows anyway, so it was really cool to fully feel the energy of everyone being super present and engaged. I lowkey wish Fred again.. would do that for some of his shows too, but I also get how chaotic it would be trying to unlock thousands of pouches on the way out

It was actually my birthday that day, and I somehow convinced all my best friends from Queens to fly out and celebrate with me. genuinely incompetence by security/logistics they basically had everyoen funnel into one gate for entry and the line was moving THROUGH the bathroom area. tables for wrist bands were at a dead end facing ths massive line you could go left or right to goto the actual stadium. not too mention i think VIP had a secon wristband somwehere else. was actual nonsense. makes me appreciate NYC logistic handling

I don’t think they needed a line for the lockers. Storehouse has the lockers just open and it works perfectly fine. People just go in and out freely and there’s no congestion

Also - if anyone hasn't been to one of the We Belong Here shows, there run really really well. Never oversold. Lines to get in aren't crazy. Solid artists every time. We've done Central Park and West Palm, and we plan to go back to at least one or two in NYC this year.
