idk maybe it’s just me but I don’t see encouraging any kind of ticket selling in here working…
It’s hard bc whilst us discord fam could help each other out - and if someone has a ticket to sell, it makes sense to share it with someone in here - I think it just opens the floodgates to more spammers flooding the discord selling fake FV tix, more bot buying, and more chaos overall 🥲

Disagree with above, I moderate a discord where we actively sell tickets through a verification process it works, idk how they would implement it here but yea… at the very least selling stuff at face value should get a role to denote they aren’t a scalper

I think this platform is perfect to help the fans who miss out have an opportunity to see Fred. Why not pass the luck to someone if you can afford to. I personally sold a ticket to Melb show at fv and for me it was non negotiable but I can see how it is complicated. If the true fans look out for one another and flag potential scammers to weed them out we can keep the community for the true fans. It has to be a communal effort though!

It’s a huge ask of the mods to implement verification processes and this discord would explode even more with scammers entering, regardless of whether they’re successful at selling their ticket or not.

I love the idea for this community, I’ve also sold FV tix in here. But the team have a lot of focus on figuring out how to stop bots and scammers buying up tickets, so I don’t see a feasible way to then, in parallel, encourage ticket sales in the discord 😔
