I think erik ten hag came at the wrong time for the club. The whole club was in a mess with the sale and he didn't have the support or the back up from top knowledgeable people. He's really a top coach and he has proved it here. But it's always the managers who hold accountable at Man United. Players get away easily and play shite when there were games we could have dominated with huge margins.

We waited so long to get a left footed rightwing, when we didn't have any since the greenwood incident. The club didn't have people in recruitment to get the right player, and after waiting for too long we inquired about antony, he as a player would love to play for a big club and didn't train with ajax after hearing this and Ajax took advantage of it. I would never believe erik could have said richard Arnold or john murtough to go and pay straight up €100m for Antony.

Secondly he wanted a compact box to box midfielder and the same as before the club went behind de jong for too long (yes it's true ten hag wanted de jong. But if we couldn't get him at least we have to get a similar kind of player like de jong for a lesser amount. And ineos have proven it now because they have people around them with proper knowledge of football) and what we did at last after chasing de jong for more than a month, at the very end we only had casemiro for £60m as a panic buy. Once again Real Madrid took advantage of it. And i have plenty more to say but it's enough for now.
