I am a huge ETH fan... and I was adamant he get this year to prove himself under a new structure... coming from one of the worst seasons ever (Prem league) and injury plagued, we HAVE to be way better even just if we did nothing.... I am cautiously optimistic that we take some really strong leaps here... I am looking for us to win the games with more confidence that we SHOULD win... and secure those points... we still are not at the level of City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, WH and Spurs will ahve improved as well, so we aren't out of the woods

but we were 9pts out of 4th.... how many points did we drop to the bottom half of the table that we should have secured.....

Well and that is my point.... yes, it is 9pts, but you look at how many times we threw points away... if we play like we should.... then we secure those. and again, coming from a horrible season.... the upside could be high... we need to be cautious about it, but if you look at the numbers, we do have the ability to fight for a top 4 spot this season... it will be tough and require some big wins against the top clubs, but it is doable.

The issue, and I don't blame ETH for this, but the club, is we literally had no infrastructure above ETH... so ETH had to be the TEchnical director, Sporting Director, etc... and the full time manager, so he could only select players he knew about... zero time to scout...
