I have a signed jersey from most of the 80s / 90s players Brian McClair, Clayton Blackmore, Frank Stapleton etc. Happened to meet them in Tesco one day 😂 they were there to meet a Tesco 11 and the young lad happened to have his jersey on so I ran around Tesco, bought a cheap t-shirt and marker, stuck the t-shirt on the kid and got the players to sign the jersey 🤣 I'll stick a pic up over the next day or so

I met him in '85 at a meet and greet at a local shoe store in Dublin. There was only me and a few others there 😂 I had a red united rain coat and had it signed by Robbo but I've no clue whatever happened to the jacket. I was only 7.

Once you start it is difficult to stop 😂😂 I've stopped about 100 times and then you see a card youve been waiting for and then it starts again 😂 I went from current United players, to older players, then to U18 & U21 players (not all current players have autos eg De Gea, and aot of the older players don't either as they didn't really do them. I'd love a Bruce, Pallister, Sparky etc. I've got Robson, Cole, York, Berbatov, Sheringham, Strachan, RVP, and different generations. But it's fun. It can be expensive so be careful but definitely fun. I try and only collect autos of United players, but if they don't have an auto or price is unachievable I'll go for a low as possible number card (or sometimes get a super low numbered auto - worth even more. There are a few of us here from different countries, Europe, America, UK etc so if you need any advice etc feel free to ask. One thing, depending where you live, be careful of postage, tax and duties 🤯 usually coat more than the cards 🤦🏽‍♂️

I've not bought really for couple weeks now as I'm waiting for a few to still arrive. USA to Ireland can take a good few weeks 🤦🏽‍♂️ So I'll wait till everything gets here and then see what I need. I may look at doing to United Women this coming season as theyll be in the champions league so should have cards 👍🏼

Oh so one comes from a hobby box which has more possibilities of pulling an autograph and #’d card and or exclusive. I’m pretty sure lite still has a possibility but less likely

When you buy a hobby box you are guaranteed an auto and like two numbered cards. While lite boxes are 1:3 boxes for an auto and usually more likely 2-3 #’d.

What player are you looking for? Not all players have autographed cards unfortunately but the majority do. De Gea is one that hasn't got one. If you search on eBay or whatnot app you'll find some great cards

Normally something like Patch or Match Worn Memorabilia

As Shaw says you can either get ones that have material from the team but it's "not guaranteed to be from the player or a certain game", whereas Match Worn are officially cut from a match worn piece from the player.
The three above are match worn and I have an Eriksen patch that is not match worn. There will be a higher price for match worn cards so if you see someone selling a patch, make sure you double check if they are match worn 👍🏼

I can only guess that the MBNA one is late 90's early 2000's when MBNA were the clubs financial partner(1998-2016) and offered Manchester United Credit Cards. I think the scarf was maybe part of a promo to get people to sign up.
The other I don't recognise or remember myself, but there are millions of different scarfs out there. I would say its also from the late 90s going by how its made and the style Probably 98/99.
I still have my one and only scarf from the mid 80s it never misses a trip to OT.

I only have one scarf that I got in the mid 80s, I never needed another. The only other Scarf I own was my Dad's Sunderland Scarf from the 90s when they were as bad as city for getting relegated from the prem.
