My brother shipped my Galaxy tab S9+ via post office and they somehow lost it on the way. When I got my package it was open on both sides and only my electronics were missing, so this was a targeted attack. I am wondering if there is any way that I can track down where my device is because I invested a lot of money into getting one and I have a lot of stuff on there.
There has to be a "find my tablet" app or something. Please get back to me ASAP. My life isn't the same without it
#TRACKING GALAXY TAB S9+

Have you happened to contact your brother yet?
Who was it shipped through
Post Office
Usps FedEx ups or any others?
Fedex
Did you call support?
One sec
I need to ask my brother cuz the box says fed ex but the slip I got in the mail says USPS
Looks like a mix up.
Oh so
Maybe I'm not exactly sure.
USPS had my electronics and FedEx had my clothes
I walked to the post office and they said that it must've fell out on the air plane and they don't know who to give the electronics to
And to file a report
Or worst case scenario is someone stole it while the package was going through one of the centers Yes, that can actually happen, but rare
But I want my old galaxy tab S9+ cuz I only used it for 6 months tops
Do that first.
Is there any tracking that you guys have in your devices?
I got it at Costco so I'll see if they have tracking on it at all
They should enforce you needing to set it up for situations like these while you're "setting up your device"
I don't remember if I set it up
How would you check if you did
Either use the Google find my app or use Samsung built-in tracking app.
I meant find hub.
Fell out on the plane is an impossible claim
You go into the SmartThings Find web and log in with the account you assume you've used to sign into that device and track it down
But I doubt its credibility in this case and would report that to the police
Will do, thank you
I can't change my phone number to the right one
Do I have to call Samsung or can this be fixed over this
You don’t need two step verification for finding the tablet’s location itself but only for some specific actions
What exactly are you trying to do here?
Samsung support wouldn’t help because it relates to liability issue
They just sent a unencryption signal to my email I believe
is there any way to track it?
but you need to sign in to see the tablets location because the tablet is (probably) linked to a Samsung account
And that wouldn’t require 2FA
signing in does require it in some cases
But not in case you’re finding it through SmartThings find. Get it?
This is quite literally me trying to sign in from the SmartThings find App
where it says "Sign in" and when I click on it, this pops up for me to "sign in"
It’s https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/ are you sure you’ve reached the correct URL?
