#How to have phone mirror screen and not display dex on external display

I'm currently trying to mirror my phone screen to my 1980s CRT TV using this configuration: USB c to HDMI cable, HDMI fed to HDMI to composite converter, composite goes to RF modulator and out to antenna cable. When I connect my phone to the whole setup, it is displaying Samsung dex and not my phone screen. Any way to remove the dex automatically displaying and get my phone mirrored?

Oh just found it in settings. Why is it always that I find a solution to my problem immediately after asking for support 😭

I could use one of my other units without parental controls but none of them are switch 2 😔

#

Well except the switch 2 that's in the pic

#

But that's the one I'm currently on

As many as my aunt, 9. Only 6 units are in full working order

#

Top main board, switch lite, non special edition OLED are all non functional/need to get parts for

#

This switch lite was a product of rage but the board is thankfully in tact, just need to fix up some stuff and get new screen and parts (ignore the cable hanging there, that's for testing)

Just took this updated collection pic. Some games are missing from bottom shelf but I don't really care

#

Top shelf - rare development kits/factory units, 2nd to top shelf - consoles, 2nd to bottom shelf - handhelds, bottom shelf - games
