Title. I work at an ewaste center and found this being recycled. Oddly perfect condition aswell. It was already factory reset and I tried to set it up to give to my dad as he has an s20. After the network login I am prompted to confirm pattern in order to continue (which I don't have) I also tried adding my own google account but it needs to be the previous owners account

I doubt you can’t as it’s a security measurement

#

Maybe try the guide pinned in Guide Directory on how to recover the software to try if it works. I don’t guarantee it will, but give it a try if you have no other ways

I've used samfw tool for frp in the past, but for some reason the program won't open for me anymore... And idek if samfw has setup bypass

Bypassing setup is basically violating the security phrase

Also looking at the guide - surprised the official Samsung server actually references samfw

For liability reason I may not be able to help you further than the thing I’ve said above. I think contacting Samsung may help, if you have the proof you’re the owner of it

Well I don't have a receipt or anything of the sort. Will providing pics help? I only took one outside of the building after I took it

I dunno 🤷
Actually I don’t know how to help with bypassing nor am I allowed to assist you with bypassing security layers

#

So your best bet is to contact official Samsung support

#

Or better, get a refund at the ewaste store you’re talking about

I didn't pay that's the thing. I work there and get infinite phones (not usually of this prestine quality and newer model). I repair em, they sell em, I make half profit

I've already tried samfw for removing the frp but the phone is too new
