So I bought these RS120W for my grand parents. It should connect to the tv and play the sound but it only works when I connect it to the headphones jack from the samsung smart tv. But then the speakers of the tv don't work. Its a pretty old samsung smart tv. My question is how can I fix that audio comes out the tv and out the headphones. Is it possible that it works if I use a converter and convert it into a optical wire?

Hi! You might wanna try Multi Output audio and see if that will make things work the way you want it to.
To access Multi-output Audio menu path for previous Samsung TV models:
If you TV is older than 2015 then unfortuantely I don't know a solution for your problem.

I dont have a lot of info on older TVs. Usually with newer TVs its just a bluetooth connection and a setting in accessibility and that's it.

if the tv has headphone/line out with 3.5mm, you can hook the headphones up directly to the headphones with the included adapters. if you need to use opical, you need to buy an extra adapter for that

That doesn't work it does work when I wire it into the headphonejack but than tv doesn't produce sound. If I use a optical will the tv also give sound at the same time as the headphones?

no? at least i dont remember my samsung tv having both audio outputs when optical is involved
