Camera Issues

Whenever I take photos from the back Camera in 50MP, the gallery just automatically tries to optimize the picture but it just ends up looking worse. I've seen lots of other people with this problem, but I'm not sure if there's a fix for it yet.

I take the photo, view it and then it loads for a bit and then I can see the change

The frame is also slightly different

Hi! You can fix this by going to the camera settings and turning off Scene Optimizer.

I have it off but it still happens 😭

Can you show me your whole camera settings? You can do that by screenshotting the settings and tap the scroll button on the screenshot tool bar

Oh wow I just realized I can do this

I can also send my settings from camera assistant app

How about uninstalling camera assistant?

The problem happened before camera assistant, which is why I downloaded camera assistant to try find a fix for it

probably built in image proccessing algo bugging

or samsung just didnt polish it all the way

id say just try reinstalling everything if you can and try again if it still does the same its most likely on samsungs end

There's a notification for the camera app everytime a photo is taken in 50MP with the back camera and it says "refining picture" even though it just ends up looking worse

Trust me, contacting Samsung should be the best way at this point, since the assistance you receive in this server is not official though the server is official
