I'm 100% sure there is no moisture in the charging port. I have rebooted at least a dozen times, and tried pretty much everything I could find on the internet. Open to adb if needed.
How the hell do I get rid of this?

#

For what it's worth I would like to permanently disable it as it's much more trouble than it's worth. I can tell if I've done something that would put moisture in there

michael0x18 has been warned

Reason: Bad word usage

Things I've tried: waiting a week, 91% isopropyl alcohol, cleaning out port with a thin piece of plastic, compressed air

#

This is exceptionally annoying, especially since I'm not around a wireless charger enough

I'd say there's a problem with your charging port. I'd try going to a repair shop and getting it replaced

#

You can try one other thing

#

I couldn't find this on my device but it may work on yours(from another forum)

#

Clear the USB cache:

  • If the icon persists, you can try clearing the USB cache:
  • Go to Settings, then Apps
  • Tap the Filter and sort icon
  • Turn on Show system apps
  • Scroll to USBSettings and tap Storage
  • Tap Clear cache in the bottom right corner
#

I believe the warning is hardwired and there is no way to disable it, even through adb commands.

Then you have to replace it.

Wait wtf. I just did a system update and the problem vanished?

#

Software issue?

Didn't go away for six days, over multiple reboots.

Going to re open this since the issue came back

#

This time, there is no moisture warning, but the phone refuses to charge.

#

Okay, this is 100% a software issue. I put my phone on the floor. Plugged in the charger. Taped the cable to the floor so it can't move. Unplugged the charger brick at the wall. Waited 5 minutes. Plugged that in. Started to charge. I unplugged at the wall and put it back in. Didn't charge, and the light on the charger that says it's charging went out. This seems to be able to be repeated

#

It also seems like it's going to take 2 hours to charge from 10% to full... which is not right as I'm using a 45 watt charger and have fast charging enabled

And I belive there should be a super fast charging button enabled on your phone for something that can charge up to 45 watts

Oh

#

I don't think it's a software issue

#

It's should be the cable?

#

Or have you already changed usb cable
