LHDC 5.0 on Samsung A34 5G?

I wanted to buy the Nothing Ear 2 but I heard that the samsung ddevices arent compatible for the LHDC 5.0 that Nothing Ear 2 has. Can you please clarify here?

Unfortunately Samsung devices don't support the LHDC Codec.

Samsung Devices Running One UI 6 support the following codecs:

• SBC
• AAC
• Qualcomm aptX Audio
• LDAC
• LC3
• Opus
• SSC

Nothing ear 2 supports AAC, SBC and LHDC

If you have the phone on you, you can check by going into developer option>bluetooth audio codec and see what Codecs are supported

That means whatever high end earbuds i buy, I can only run SBC?

Yes, it switches to the best codec avaliable

It still means I would be getting AAC with nothing ear 2 ig

So would be better to get LDAC ones or samsung buds?

Samsung Buds will use the SSC (Samsung Scalable Codec) instead of AAC

It is totally personal prefrence

If you want ear 2s get them

Or i can get oppo enco air 3 pro that has LDAC
