Problem started on my galaxy s20 fe 5g a few weeks ago where my storage suddenly started dropping even when i wasnt installing anyhting, it kept fluctuating between 10 and 11 gb remaining as it ould go down and then usually go back up.A few days ago it didnt do that for about 2-3 days but then yesterday I checked and it was down to 7.2gb, i tried restarting and it just went up by .1 and now its at 6.9 gb left. I checked and the system category went up about .5gb and apps suddenly went up by over 3 gb. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

That is normal it is just cache files building up, you can try cleaning them up through the App's Settings or the Settings app on your S20 FE.

The game sizes haven't changed though, something else made the space go away but I can't figure out what since none of the apps have suddenly gotten larger, they're still the same as they were before

yeah thing is ive been checking the app sizes for a while but nothing seems out of ordinary, so thats why im not sure what used up the 4+ gb
even now im deleting cache and uunused apps and i get the space back but then i check a bit later and it still keeps going down
