Core respawn no matter what in stage 2 4 6 8, destroyed or not it will respawn... so yeah you have to run the first 2 bursts if you want stage 9 and for stage 7 you need decent/good ele in rh and maxwell/lappy/snow

Anomaly Ultra is stupid in that certain phases forces its core to respawn, so with proper timing you can constantly hit/overkill core for big damage totals. This means a bad phase progression timing will tank your damage totals

So it's that it's more obvious at lower phases, not higher, because you're trying to destroy the core with overkill damage right before it resets
