This whole side story made it "FEEL LIKE" she changed, got new powers, new objectives, and the fact that they showed her a second time in the castle kind of implied that this is what she will look like this from now on. A free skin unlocked after completing chapter 30 or something would make more sense in the worst case scenario than some gacha/pass skin. But hey, maybe shift up decided to screw over its fanbase.
