tldr, the original art of x.rupee got censored (and in an arguably tasteless way) so people are really unhappy because there was a promise that the art was not going to be censored cmiiw

at the same time, people are also really pissed off with tencent for a whole bunch of other things ranging from lack of bug fixes to ridiculous prices of the in-game currency/battlepass to unfair roll rates. it's just a whole bunch of issues
