while it may feel like that, its easy to understand why they behave differently to stellar blade compared to nikke. stellar blade is a single player game and the only time you pay is when you buy the game or when you buy the DLCs. they don't earn anything by individual skins. while in nikke, skins are how they earn money. modding them, specially when swapping them can hurt their sale directly. You could argue that they people who are swapping them wouldn't have bought the skins in the 1st place, but the thing is why would anyone bother buying their expensive skins when they could just swap it for free. hence they are strict against modding as whole in nikke. imo, if the price of the skins were much less, people would be more willing to buy them, but its their business at the end of the day.

I did get a different issue now though. I used the burst swap and am getting disconnected from server. Is there a limit to the total number of swaps that can be activated at once?

Can make it work with one or two, I am testing one by one what is causing the issue or if there is a limit.

burst swaps usually disconnect you if you have duplicated ones or if you play with the character owner of the burst and the other character borrowing the burst

example: you swap Naga burst over 2B, and then you play with Naga and 2B in the same team = disconnected

No, I am only using alt bursts on default burst of the same character. It only happened with characters which gave two files after using the burst swapper like with helm, scarlet, naga. I do not know why it gave two files, I only activated the one in the burst manager for the default skin, but it still does not work. Disactivating them makes it work.

Okay, I found out what the issue was. If a swap file already exists in the swapped folder and I use Burst swap again, it's renaming the older file as well, and having them both be the same character.

Happens with both cli and gui if you do not move the swapped file before using the tool again @void pond

your Windows is displaying the Python scripts as PY File, if Python installation works those should be displayed as "Python File" I think

you don't need to uninstall other versions of python, you just need to put 3.13 first in the PATH or specify that the bat launches in a 3.13 environment

the way the game reads some files requires advanced modification using Spine Pro, that's something my tools can't do

did you force admin start on the mod manager (else it cant remove the regenerating file that blocks your mods from loading each update / re-download / repair) ?

and even after you did this, it can take couple restarts for the mods to stick so dont worry

just make sure when you think its not loading mods you only try with 1 normal char mod, as you might look for ghosts everywhere when just one of your mods corrupted which causes none of your mods to load (for you ppl trieng to force load hundreds of mods as first thing after it broke)

I was doing some modded 01 > 00 burst swaps using doro-tools, and some (like Scarlet Black Shadow and Marciana) give this error 'invalid literal for int() with base 10: '' when running the bundlefile.py step. Is there something I can do to get things going for ones that do this?

I've done a few others that work fine, these are just the two I've noticed that aren't for me.

also check a single mod only if it works or not

if you have 1 fault mod none might load so loading many and it not working it just given sometimes when things change

then you need to find the troublemaker

also lobby and burst and such no longer work with normal nnm so make sure you dont have any in your mod folder

having old things like those in there .. (even unloaded) can cause issues

Takes a bit to install, not just download and go. Theres a Doro_Repacker and a Na0h_Repacker. Both should work but Na0h’s has simple instructions included.

Recently my Nikke has been crashing frequently. Every time I enter a battle, it gets disconnected and crashes. I have uninstalled it several times, but it still happens. I can't seem to solve it myself, and I don't know where to contact the official. Does anyone know the cause of this problem? I can only provide an event viewer in Windows, which will report an error every time it crashes. Apart from that, I don't know where to see how the error in the Nikke game is caused. Just in case, double check make sure you swapped 01-00 and not 00-01. In game, scroll over to the 2nd mermaid skin. If it shows up as the default one just switch the numbers around when generating the swap again.

I've noticed the 3Dmigoto Milk mod doesn't seem to show when I set her on lobby, but it shows up in every other menu. She still stays with the blushy face until I click her again so that mod functionality still works there.

Hello! I wanted to know if someone can help me with an issue that I am having on NLBMM. Currently, I am trying to put my mods for the Lobby and Burst, however, when I put them, the pop-up from downloading files appear on Nikke, and after that, the game prompts an System Error and reloads.

Am I doing something wrong with the directory? I am using this directory for the naps folder: C:/Users/username/AppData/LocalLow/Unity/com_proximabeta_NIKKE/naps
And this one for the mods folder:
D:/nmm_0_4b6/mods/lobby_burst

I have ran the install_requirements.bat. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

yeah you would use doro tools normal skin swap. first you would type in the skin you wanna swap as normal but then after it gets the files for both skins you would rename the modded file with the name of the skin that is replacing the default one and then continue the process from there

Im not at my computer rn so I forgot exactly which bat files you need to press but if you sent a screenshot of all of the files in the character swapper I could tell you which ones

alright I figured out how to do it so Ill just leave the instructions here.

double click A_Get_Raw_files.bat then type in whoever you want swapped. Drag the modded file(s) (in this case I'm assuming its a standing mod but its the same for aim and cover mods). in the defaultbundle folder and drag the file to the corresponding inner fold (Like standing mods in the standing folder, etc). then take the name of the file already in the folder and rename your modded file with the copied name and delete the original file. then after that you would usually just run the normal PY_Character_swap but in the case with Marciana's skin beacuse she has the background you have to use the PY_character_swap_bg_skins bat. Then your swapped files should end up in the repacked folder

@final leaf after I format my PC I can't launch NIKKE anymore, it stuck on a black screen lmao. you are more knowledgeable about stuff like that, do you have any idea why? I assume there are like left over stuff from the previous windows since the game was on my X drive and wasn't really "deleted", I deleted it manually earlier

I use Na0h NMM because it has support for my static image mods like this one #modded-assets message

so Idk what files work with og NMM

well, Na0h name format follows og NMM format.... my NLBMM uses - instead of _ because the event filenames use both so I was lazy to do something like Na0h did with his NMM

and when you install Python select all the checkboxes just in case.... and when the installer asks you "enable PATH" you must allow it

you can try that one too, I had an issue a long time ago related to UnityPy so I upgraded to 3.13.2
I did something wrong because someone with 3.10 had no issues like mine

hmmm i'm still having issues, for changing character skins is "Skin_Swapper" > X_Mainbatfile, and choose UI right?, after that nothing happens

if you still can't run Python scripts directly then Windows could be blocking Python or something like that

nothing, one thing using your zip file i didn't download the pre requisites, maybe it could be that?

if you have Python installed with its dependencies and you can't run .py/.pyw files then there is an issue with Windows or with Python iirc

I can't help with issues related to Windows 11 because I stick to Windows 10...

Are your catalogs files on Doro_Repacker is up to date? Because some mods after repack process arent working

I check again here again and i did some mistakes. Your catalogs are ok

But i dunno why some mods anrent working here

yeah it's updated, but there are some things to have in account:
most of Na0h mods will not work with my repacker
seireiko mods could fail as well
only mr.miagi mods work 100% with my repacker
