that depends entirely on u, physics is just the animation of how the character moves, we focus mainly on aim and cover because sometimes due to the change of skin/character without physics, the animation looks super weird, while sometimes its negligible. in either case its ur decision if u wanna fix the physics or not. Physics fix is not mandatory

i took out the skin texture and copied the skin sprite text file, i opened the base portrait file, i replaced the base texture with the skin texture, i copied the necessary files from the base text to the skin text, i changed skin text first line to 00 from 02, i pasted the new skin text to the base text, i did it all correctly what went wrong

Last time folder names changed I just placed my old modded __data files into the new folder and they still worked, I did this with my burst, lobby and voice swaps. I'd suggest giving that a try and seeing if they still work once the game goes live

for medium portraits its swapping a few lines of code + the texture, for small portrait its just a couple of lines all in one file

heres what the small portrait file looks like for example

you just open the desired one, copy like 4 lines, paste it into the one in use and its done

the quick way to fix the issue is to reinstalling the game in C: and then NMM can find the paths easier
to make NMM to work from different partitions require a bit more of knowledge about symlink

I don't know if it's a mod problem. I can log in to NIKKE now, and the store and main menu are all available, but once I enter manual combat, the game displays "Connection interrupted". Clicking "Confirm" will return to the main menu.

I thought it was the mod that caused the missing combat model, so I deleted the com_proximabeta_NIKKE folder in disk C and downloaded it again (nearly 10GB), but the problem still exists.
I also disabled all mods in NMM.

I want to ask what this problem is and is there a solution?

yep, the ones i'm using (bunny mary from Unvali and Sakura veil removal mod from El-Caudillo) don't work anymore.
For a sanity check, I did the following just to be sure with the game closed:-

1. Clicked Deactivate All.
2. Clicked Apply Mods and waited for fixes to be downloaded.
3. Clicked Activate All.
4. Clicked Apply Mods and waited for fixes to be downloaded.
5. Opened up Nikke.
6. Mods still not applied.
   They worked perfectly before this mini update that just hit, was playing the game a few hours ago.
