there are two main categories of mods. lobby swaps and character swaps. the former is done by saving modified files in the correct folders inside com_proximabeta_NIKKE. if the mod is downloaded as an exe file it's a self extracting archive. the latter are divided into 3 files for the 3 stances of characters (stand, cover, aim) those go into the nmm
