while it sounds interesting, I wonder how you deal with the editing part then?
Disassemble the binary structure is 1/3 of the story.
I mean, you need something to properly modify the model, keyframe properties, adjust geometry and skin weights (Dragonbones?). Blender isn't exactly suited.
Plus other stuff, like constraints, vertex based live deforms etc, a lot of models make use of it. If you can't recreate that 1:1 you mess up most models.
Some stuff can maybe baked, but not everything.

All is inside, movement are just arrays as well as key frames. To repack it again is just do the reverse, convert numbers and strings to bytes, there are variables to check errors, so the reverse process can be done I think

Most arrays are just bezier curves, if you want a gui to modify or "view" it then it can be done

Don't get me wrong, I don't intent to discourage you or smt. But I think you underestimate that.
E.g. if you simply export curves... like mentioned, what about contraints for example.
You export the Keyframes and stuff to arrays, but not the logic that animates it. Unless I got it wrong and you are on reverse engineering (and kinda extend) the viewer logic...
Otherwise you wont get single model to animate properly.

Converting the model to another format, is kinda meaningless unless you have a software that can deal with the all the properties and at the same time allows adjustments (maybe not in full but at least the important stuff).

here is all the data that can be get from the skel file, and the lists contain more dictionaries with more data, fro example the animation var contain all the timelines, and each timeline is just a mix of variables and bezier curves, the difficult part is to know what var1, var2, ... mean, since the java code use that notation, what im doing is figuring out what each variable mean and so try to make a way to read, edit or modify them. variables are just integer or float numbers and bezier are lists containing more float values, all of them can be converted back to bytes in the format that the skel file uses, which was tricky to implement since java is a typed language and can manage int32 or byte, etc while python just put all together :'0. For now im making the script to get all the data, then ill make a simple gui to visualize and edit the data, i dont need to handle the animation since that can be done with the original jar file.

the code is 99% translated from java to python, and i figured out around ~15% of the code, it will take me more time , since i start my last semester at my uni and i have to focus on my thesis so ill try to work on ti in weekends if possible :'')

currently bundles are V4 signed, there is basicly a sort of server sided comparison. This method can't technically be overcome unless you know some nikke stuff member that would provide you their private key

Though V3 bundles are still accepted, that is why you can still use mods. If they stop accepting V3 bundles, the only way to make mods work is via hacked clients

Android 12 and above give problems with the permissions to access to NIKKE folders, the best option would be to use a PC to transfer the mods to your phone

or try zArchiver app

hello, i followed the lobby animation swap guide and swapped a couple of lobby animations succesfully, for example swapped sr neon's lobby with mary bay goddess. i noticed that (pic related) the interaction voiceline in the lobby remains the one from neons lobby. anyone knows if it's possible to modify the __data file to include the voicelines and if so what are the needed changes?

I've tried and edited the FullBurst_1 voice line and the ult skill of the files of the character i swapped and the audio did change (the japanese audio like i wanted). i noticed that the textbox still has the original name of the character and the original text (translated to english) of the start character (it happens with the rapi -> bay lobby swap you posted a few days ago as well)
i guess the data of the little subtitle box in the lobby isn't known or possible to swap?

Only a few modders got the most recent decryption tool (not me tho) but the problem is files can't be re-encrypted so mods are dead atm
And about the dialogues, they can't be modded because the game checks those files every time you log in.... but you can swap voices and lobby wallpapers/burst animations tho

You just need to close the game first, open my lobby exe file, click Extract, done

Your files will be replaced automatically with no confirmation warning so be careful

I got spooked about getting banned so I tried to remove the modded files from my alt account computer before going to the main account, but for some reason the modded skins still showed up. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling and it was still there so I just deleted the entire folder you put the mods in and seeing if that will work. but just double checking if anybody knows if theres still no reports of anybody getting banned for modded skins just in case?

settings.json in mod manager folder has a setting called CATALOG_PATH. This is the addressable folder

Once you run the program it'll ask you to link it to your nikke.exe (it should be in your C: disk)

Once that's done, all you have to do is drag and drop the mod files you downloaded to the 'mods' folder in the mod manager folder

And apply mods

You can close the mod manager after that and enjoy your mod or something

I used modmanager today, and it is worked in the first time. And then I decided to delete the mods for testing. So I just delete the mods files in the mod manager "mod" folder, and the mod name disappeared in the manager. I ckliked the appply mod again and the mods are uninstalled then. (the game asked me to download some files when log in) However, after that no matter what action I did, no mods could be installed.(no requirement for downloading again) What should I do?

One question regarding this, in the post you said if we dont "have the folders for "Bond level 10" voicelines that's because you don't have that character at bond level 10 yet", makes sense since they appear locked in game as well.

Doesnt this mean the new modernia voice folders from the outfit are also out of reach too since they are locked until purchase?
