Depends on what you want to do. If its just some simple skin swaps then you might need to just unpack and repack some files without any major edits.
If you want to just make them nude then you would need drawing skills and a good image editor at the least
If you want to change most of the image then you would need proper tools like Spine Pro which is also required if you want to use other assets from other games that use the same format.

The skel file contains character model infos: skeletons, animations, contrainst. The atlas file contains character texture map infors: mesh boundaries, resolutions, multi-alpha informations

You most likely dont have dotnet core installed

You have the same problem I had, you are getting confused on what core item to install just like I did, the names are too similar so it's easy to mess it up, try opening the app with CMD if using windows and it should tell you what you are missing and give u the link to download the necessary files

A:NikeeTool on older file > work normal
B:NikeeTool on new file > nothing happen
C:Unpacker on older file > still make dec.bundle , but the bundle won't work
D:Unpacker on new file > work normal

I got C and misunderstand what is wrong ,
then started fixing non-exist .net problem until someone point out the path

I think is the encrypt ways are different , it should be common sense ,but somehow I am brain dead and stuck into it

Without spine pro, u have no other choice but to do your modifications within the constraints of the original texture

Nothing has changed from the implementation of the "anticheat". It was more towards macros. Skin modding has been going normally with v3 encryption popping up when Nier collab came out but new tool came out shortly by Bingle. Also seeing repacks of alot of old mods so things are going good.

character skins have separate files from the base outfit

one of the mods is for her base, the other is for her skin

so just take the shit from the skin and put it into the base

Each file is a skin for a specific NIKKE and specific costume.

The "swap" basically replaces Rupee version 0 (default) with a Rupee version 0 that has the art of Rupee version 1 (bunny costume). You then replaced Rupee version 1 (bunny costume) with a different Rupee version 1 (naked). Why would this interact in any way with Rupee version 0?

Only a few bosses have spine models like nikkes

And for backgrounds you'll most likely have to search manually since im not sure what theyre named as

But to answer your question, they should be in Appdata/locallow/unity/com_proxima

All the stuff in that folder is non-encrypted so u can open it directly in assetstudio

That Nikke db site is just an l2d viewer. While I think there is a way to get an offline version, Live2Dviewer is ideally better with the spine extension that you can buy on Steam
