ill look into it soon but seems to work for most ppl after they copied dist/nkab files into nikke.exe folder, not sure why yours not working, try apply mods when u have 0 mods selected and start game
if you still get stuck at 43% with no active mods then its 100% an error with those files (dist/nkab)
if it goes past 43% after applying with no active mods, then the problem might be one of the mods youre trying to activate

Solved every problem without 43%. Can make sure some invalid mods cause the error, testing now too
it would be the filename that causes the error and not the mod content IF mods can cause game to be stuck on 43% (not convinced they can)

all files in this is swappable

cxxx_xx_standing/cover/aim automatically gets their modName set to the correct internalId name, for non-cxxx_xx_s/c/a youll have to make sure modName includes something in the list above

fun fact: NMM was not working for me after I reinstalled the game today..... and the issue was that I had my game at Low Quality settings (it seems like I left it like that when I uninstalled it), so after to switch the game quality back to high NMM worked

I'm using the JSON uploaded to the DC server on the 27th. Maybe those aren't the latest anymore.
Lorax JSON structure is different from Bingle one, I made a script to parse them to Bingle format since I don't want to remake my scripts to work with Lorax new structure 
Before to use the parsers:
rename the main catalog to ----> catalog_raw
rename the lobby/burst catalog to ---> catalog_rawlobbyburst
rename the physics catalog to ---->physics_raw
Run the scripts and you will get the olds:
catalog_db
catalog_lobbyburst
catalog_physics

catalog_131.10.2B.json is the lobbyburst catalog

Try this quick script I made to decompress your mods, and even if they are decompressed already you can still use this script
After I "decompressed" my mods with this I can view them on NMM viewer now
tested with Sei mods (already repacked) and Na0h mods (already repacked)

I tried it with one mod and it now displays a preview.
It seems that this tool loads with Unitypy and saves without compression.
Unitypy will handle whether or not it is compressed.
I wanted to find out which mods are compressed with lz4, but it looks like the only way to find out is to actually preview them.
yeah, I'm batch-decompressing all of them because I want to be able to use the viewer lol

I'll remove the LZ4 compression from my tools and from my repacker as well
That way the swaps will work with NMM viewer with no issues
Run everything through the tool, and if the file size increases, i can determine that it has been compressed.
I'm concerned that the file size will be more than doubled, though.
my mods folder went from 2GB to 8GB now lol

@scenic agate after some more tests it seems that even after using UnityPy to decompress some of them don't work for me, I had to drop them onto UABEA and to save them manually to be able to make them work

wait nvm..... it seems like the issue is their filenames.....
after to rename them from c010_02_standing back to the full format c010_02_standing_Kxde_Rapi they work with no issues after the decompression

my suggestion is to go and check all mods one by one in the Nikkepedia

For some reason no matter what I try I can't get mods to work with 3.0, it keeps getting stuck at 43% building catalog path
This is what I tried (multiple times each):
Deleting \com_proximabeta\NIKKE\com.unity.addressables => run game once to remake files => apply mods
Uninstalling Nikke, reinstalling, repeating the same steps
Making sure the dep folder stuff (NKAB and the version.dll etc.) are in the games root folder
Making sure there is no odd .png files or anything not a mod file in the mods folder
Checking to make sure in inspect element of nmm that the request is good (200)
Making sure there are only 6 files in \com_proximabeta\NIKKE\com.unity.addressables
Deleting the nikke-mod-manager folder in %appdata
Repairing and doing those steps again
currently we found only one issue make it stuck at 43%: NMM not copying the files within NKAB folder properly
in your nmm 0.3 version folder, there is a deps folder. Inside it, there is nkab folder. open it. You will find NKAB folder and some other files beside it. Copy everything. go to where your game is installed (where Nikke.exe is) and paste everything there

I get stuck even with no mods installed, it looks like Danieru said its likely a dep problem if thats the case but I legit have copied the files so many times haha

So in the end what finally fixed it was a computer restart, right after reinstalling everything (prolly for the 5th time haha)
Yeah I'm guessing even after uninstalling, deleting all nikke + nmm stuff there was something loose laying around that only got dropped when you restart, very odd
Sometimes processes keep living even after you close the game or nmm maybe some old process was blocking stuff somehow

Koshirei web viewer is the only viewer without issues

I made this quick GUI with PyQt6 to not open the .jar files and to load the .skel files manually
to check mods faster only

I've been away from the internet for a few days lmao

It seems

all I use is the official spine code
with some custom code here and there to handle my own error messages ( and especially some custom dataUri loading )
so if other runtimes don't work correctly it's probably your config that's not correct
So far it works great when it works. A few people have some hiccups applying mods, but there are several troubleshooting tips in this thread if you encounter a specific issue. Also I think there's a 0.3.1 version, but 0.3.0 works for me.
Also @south dagger , are you able to post the NMM info in the Pinned Messages of this thread as a quick reference?
I just run those .jar files and nothing else, and 4.0.x models got .atlas error when I use the files without modifications

Anis is an example that doesn't work with Esoteric viewer 4.0.64 but it works on the web viewer

The preview doesn't work for most of mods because they are compressed with LZ4 compression, so for now you can use the preview only with Na0h mods or if you decompress the mods manually

most of the mods I have worked with the viewer after I decompressed them, altought it was just for testing

I can't bothered to compress 300+ files, but it seems compressing them using anything other than UABEA (which only supports doing it 1 by 1), results in files that UABEA can't open, and I doubt the game recognizes

if the mods are repacked those scripts to compress/decompress should work with the mods since they use UnityPy and bingle original repacker

No issue with character swapper but both Lobby and Portrait have it (didn't try others)

The cmd screen was too fast but I think it was the same issue
let me check with my game, I still need to put the lobby mods I have in their folders but We are getting another game update in a few hours

I was thinking that maybe would be cool to have some other Python tool that gets your modded lobby files from some backup on mediafire automatically and then it replaces everything for you automatically

Didn't work for me as well at the first try but I exit the game, reapply again and it works now

after the new path, everything goes back to normal
including some core files the NMM replaces
so, close the game completely (so, game core files become replaceable)
open NMM and use the select game path option, and look for nikke.exe
this is when NMM replaces core files (correct me if I'm wrong, this is an educated guess)
now, reapply mods again
once it has finished, open the game
if you still see the unmodded game, then maybe something is keeping the core files from being replaced/deleted, and you need to carry out that process manually

Looks like the issue is on "10___move_files_to_desktop.py", don't know what exactly the issue tho

Looks like, just checked Repacked folder and never a file appeared in the first place
The portrait swapper export the texture and it import it back but renaming the texture for the swap, so UnityPy is the main thing there
Character swapper uses UnityPy but the swap is done by hex edition

since the character swapper is working you have UnityPy..... try running the scripts one by one until to reach the one for repacking
This game could use taseful mods of default Rapi, Anis, and Neon, given how much they appear in all the stories
It'll be tricky cuz the mods can't break their facial animations either
Up to now, no mod has been done for those three that also doesn't break their facial animations during story

yea I think to have multiple Python versions can fuck the scripts... there is a way to set by default the version you want but I don't remember how, I asked chatgpt on that time 
NAU is decrypting the files right? run the scripts until the decryption and open the bundles with AssetStudio to see if they are decrypted
There are mechanisms for managing multiple versions of Python, such as pyenv and virtualenv.
I think I used some old method with a .ini file on Windows folder or something

Bingle repacker was set to use same format than raw texture but I modified the script to use RGBA32 for everything
