Few people go into something like that knowing they're going to splash money from the start. So is it better to have 10 such people for a while in a closed secret community, or 1000 who come in and out but then you get 50 whales, and 200 small time spenders or whatever. nmm 0.2 beta
- open nmm and select nikke.exe before you start the game, you only need to do this step the first time you start nmm.
- start nikke and let it finish loading until it says "touch to continue" (see screenshot)
- press apply mods in nmm (you need to redo this step every time you restart the game)
- wait for nmm to dl config/apply config, takes about 10 seconds to apply after downloading. The message in NMM will keep saying please wait 10 seconds no matter how long you wait, just manually count to 10.
- if you want to change mods after you have already entered the game you can go to the outpost, apply mods, wait 10 sec, and then exit outpost. You must have done step 1 at some point first though.
common problems:
pink texture/invisible character: you need to repack the mod
game freezes when i try to close it: spam click (X) until windows asks you to kill the program, or kill it in task manager
note: this has a slightly higher ban risk compared to old nmm, but it would be a conscious choice by SU to ban mod enjoyers since anticheat currently doesnt triggers by it.

and put them in a folder
Asset studio showed some errors but I just kept spamming continue as they weren't important
you can probably expand the range up to 1 MB more because there are some character files missing

do note that this is slightly more invasive than old NMM and shiftup may be more aggressive with banning people using this method, its safe right now but might not be in the future
also: manually remove version.dll from the folder nikke.exe is in to disable nmm magic (its not enough to just stop using nmm, need to manually remove version.dll as well to fully disable nmm)
