idk if this matters but most of standing Na0h mods needed to match the texture format to RGBA32 in UABEA, when most of non modded swaps are BC7 or something

Idk about the latest og files but I think just a few were RGBA32 by default

but still retains old behavior for cover+aim
If so, then without being able to generate new metadata that matches modded skel and atlas, then standing mods ded, unless the mod is just drawing/painting on the vanilla PNG

- SU develops internal tools to generate metadata for skel and atlas
- SU makes the client check skel and atlas against metadata that are generated by their private tools. If they don't pass, they don't load

how do you know? tested it personally? if not, then don't say something you just "assume"

unity generated it but it doesn't mean the app did all the work for you
the skeletonData in the game file is bigger because it has configuration, you have not, that's why. To make the same file you need to match the same configuration

I took a fresh original bundle, re-exported everything through spine pro and voila it works

not sure why because the files seem pretty much identical to me

even if you load background on track 1 and foreground on track 2, only the track 2 item will show

so in theory they'd overlap
but it doesn't
so my own guess is that both animation shares one or more bones
making it not possible to show both
and when I mean layer it's not 2 seperate spine animations
it's one when you manually handles the layer & tracks of the animation

that's why I said I wouldn't look further without a skel to json program, I probably could have handcrafted this fix after a limbussilion hours of tests
In spinets u load the file then spawn two instances of the spine and set the first instance to bg
we're trying to render it "without" editing the file

skuqre and I ended up believing they are loading 2 spines but that's just too stupid to be true
Why would that be stupid
because if that was true they'd at least have split them in two different set of assets, one for bg one for foreground
and not merge everything in the same files
there are 2 cases for this
1st that the bg is in a "skin" slot
but in this case it is not possible
the 2nd case is using unity and load 2 instances
but i wonder why they did it
they can just do it like they did every single animation before
unity can load layered animation you know
maybe they wanted to have two animations play independently
that makes sense
like in diesel anim you only need to animate one sequence for the signal and repeat
Isnt there variations of either the bg or the character
while you have another instance playing the character
from my knowledge, to run two animations independently you have to load them on different tracks and it would work only if both animations don't use overlapping bones
similar to idle and talking animations, that's what they are doing ( idle on track 0 and talk on track 1 ) , this works I've done it with spine player and the jar viewer
but the track system doesn't work here
then in this case it is what they are doing
there is no overlapping mesh forbg_idle or idle

anyway, such a hassle for nothing, don't waste too much time on this y'all
I personally have not much interest of fixing it after it ruined 4 of my afternoons
unless you want to mods them too or display them on other websites

this is Rei costume if i make the bg_idle work with the idle animation
you can see that the tap animation will have weird animation
it is happen because it has overlapped meshs
but why it doesnt happen in game, it is easy, they make 2 instance that load the same model at once
same with favorite cutscene
her bg isn't even animated in my website because it's the same deal as favorites, it's in a animation
the bg is in a skin slot but also in an animation to be moving
I think spawning two instances of spine on the player is the only way to do it
Track is used to add up translations/rotation/scale etc from each key in the animation but it's not useful in this case as one animation completely disables the bg while the other disables the character
if you put them on track 1 and 2 they just both disappear kek
