if you're editing on pma you cant have any transparent pixels at all

It would be better to have a standalone converter. Not in general but in this case.
The FW for the new viewer can already deal with different spine runtimes and has an auto detection for version and texture count.
But so far it's not planed to add a texture converter again or animation slider.
A release is a while away though, the Framework is ok but I need to clean up the project folder, convert my customviewer models, make guides etc.

mod compatibility check before loading - some mods dont show/work due to issues that aren't immediately understood. be it a standing file that shows up blank (no character screen) or an aim/cover thats bugged/not working. I'm more concerned with the latter. As its more immediate to check a standing vs aim/cover due to having to open up. But even if it doesnt work you wont know unless you figure out that it doesnt open the cover/aim animation if you try to view it or it disconnects during a battle with a bugged/not working cover/aim
